I saw this written about a Jennings County football player on Facebook. Thought I would share it. It's pretty cool.
Proud moment today from the 1st Day of School! Panther Football Standards = make a difference on, and more importantly, off the field. We received this message today about Football Player Jr. Gomie Gomez.
"During A-Lunch, Gomie Gomez, a junior at JCHS, was seen moving around the cafeteria after finishing his meal. Instead of sticking with his usual group, he made a point to approach students sitting alone or students he didn’t know—introducing himself, asking about their day, and finding out what their favorite classes and teachers were."
Great job Gomie! Making a difference in others first day of school in a positive way!
All Panther Football players - follow Gomie's lead. Set the tone for the whole school for the new school year! Great job again Gomie!
I hope Jennings County has a winning record this season. No community in this conference deserves it more.
