  1. Pioneer is looking for a week 5 Varsity opponent for the 2021 season. If interested please reach out to head coach Adam Berry at berrya@pioneer.k12.in.us
  2. Bigger factor is probably having 2 different head coaches in 2 years due to some questionable administration choices. This is not the thread or place to argue this topic (has been done repeatedly elsewhere). My prediction is Coach Nay and the Knights get it done. Past experience has no bearing on it in my opinion, with these kids being in Jr. High the last time they were there. I think the knights coaching and their ability to make adjustments on the fly will lead them to another blue ring.

  4. I’m too lazy to look but I believe eastern Greene made it in 1a after a handful of years in 1a.

  7. Lcc will beat Judson next week, and it won’t be particularly close.
  8. 3 POINTS EACH LaVille @ Lewis Cass Lafayette Central Catholic @ Traders Point Christian Rensselaer @ Andrean West Lafayette @ Chatard Penn @ Warsaw Westfield @ Carmel Mississinewa @ Marion Knox @ Calumet Culver @ North Judson Park Heritage @ North Vermillion
  9. I didn’t understand the run call on 4th down for winamac with a little over 4 minutes to go. If you’re going for it that deep on your end and you need 8, why not pass? Kudos to Judson.
  10. 1 POINT GAMES Cass @ Rochester Clinton Prairie @ Lafayette Central Catholic Tipton @ Eastbrook North Newton @ Rensselaer West Lafayette @ Guerin Catholic 3 POINT GAMES Twin Lakes @ Knox Western @ Lebanon Warsaw @ Chesterton Carmel @ HSE Fishers @ Westfield Avon @ Brownsburg Boone Grove @ Andrean 4 POINT GAME Lafayette Jeff @ Merillville
  11. We got throttled by a more physically dominant team. No more no less. They wanted it more and took it. Eurit is a great player, but if you ask me the most important player on Cass is #30 Humphrey. We couldn’t block him at LB and he was dominant as a blocker at TE. He was a man among boys last night. Full credit to Cass and hopefully it opened some eyes for us of what it will take to be successful next year.
  12. LC athletic booster will be doing a $5 Pork burger dinner (sandwich chips and drink i believe).
  13. Injuries were not why we lost... Cass's execution when it mattered and Pioneer not making the needed adjustments early enough were the issue.
  14. 1 Point Games West Lafayette @ Hamilton Heights Rensselaer @ Wheeler Tipton @ Frankton Clinton Central @ Lafayette Central Catholic 2 Point Games Hanover Central @ Twin Lakes 3 Point Games Lapel @ Eastern Hobart @ Hammond Morton Muncie Central @ Greenfield Central Peru @ Oak Hill 4 Point Games River Forest @ Benton Central Pioneer @ Cass Northwestern @ Heritage
  15. Cass is the favorite here and according to everyone on here other than AG and ultimate it isn’t close. Cass split the top votes in 2a poll so coaches think the same thing as well. If you beat arguably the top team in 3A you should be the favorite. Cass is right where they want to be at the top so pressures on!
  16. Injuries not an excuse, next man up, it’s what good teams do. Cass played their butts off the first game and we flat didn’t. Poor defensive effort, confusion on the o-line and kids playing out of position was our downfall.
  17. Culver at LaVille ©, 7 pm- Game of the week in my opinion. Culver came out fired up against Pioneer and their defense played well in the first half. I think this will be pretty low scoring with LaVille coming out on top. Knox at Caston ©, 7:30 pm -Knox North Judson at Pioneer ©, 7:30 pm- Panthers Triton at Winamac ©, 7 pm- Triton
  18. Cass @ West Lafayette Frankfort @ Crawfordsville Harrison @ Marion Muncie Central @ Logansport Eastern Hancock @ Lapel Western @ Lafayette Central Catholic Tipton @ Rensselaer Northwestern @ Benton Central Hamilton Heights @ Twin Lakes Northview @ Indian Creek
  19. I know the seating on the visitors side is limited. Any talk of them bringing in extra bleachers for the game?
  20. The pretzel was disappointing at best...
