Their win over Danville made a believer out of me. I think they win their regional before losing to eventual state champion Evansville Memorial in the semi-state.

Cathedral is the only team left on New Palestine's schedule that can give them a game. Even in that game, Cathedral's offense won't be able to keep up with New Palestine's offense and I expect New Palestine to win by 2 scores. The rest of the teams on their regular season and postseason schedule they should blow out of the water. In my single class rankings I have New Palestine ranked fourth, behind only Brownsburg, Center Grove, and Carmel. I'd like to see them play whoever wins the class 6A title (probably Brownsburg) so we could determine a true state champion.

I think Merrillville has an easy road to semi-state. Is this the year they finally make it to state? I mean, they have to break through sometime, right?

Let's see: Crown Point, Merrillville, Andrean, and Knox makes 4, I have Hobart winning their sectional but losing to Mishawaka in the regional, and then a coin flip between North Judson and Carroll (Flora) in the regional. So, over/under 4.5 teams from NWI in semistate?

It would be ironic that in such a one-sided "rivalry" (I consider Dwenger to be Snider's biggest rival) if Northrop beats Snider in the last season that the teams will share Spuller Stadium together.

Against Northrop and North Side too?

I was impressed with Carroll after their two close losses against Hamilton SE and Center Grove. Last week I had Carroll ranked 15 on my list. I was very surprised by the loss to Dwenger. What happened to their offense? I guess they were missing Jimmy Sullivan. Dwenger and Carroll will have chances to move up depending on how they do against Snider and Homestead.
