With Center Grove and Carmel rejoining the MIC next season, once they start playing a full round robin again, I hope Center Grove and Cathedral go back to playing each other in week 9. It would be a damn shame if this series was discontinued. Plus, I'd much rather see Cathedral vs. Center Grove than Cathedral vs. Warren Central or Center Grove vs. Pike.

I don't think so either and they'd have to win out to have a chance. And Penn State never beats that team in Columbus.

The sequence of playcalling by James Franklin at the end of the first half is what we're all going to point to at the end of the season if/when they don't make the playoff. He should have been way more aggressive in trying to score at that point. If/when they miss the playoff, the Pegula family (owner of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres) has the money to buy out James Franklin, which is $50 million. We can all argue about preseason polls and what the polls should look like now, but that's why they play the games and what matters is that the playoff committee gets the rankings correct at the end of the season.
