  1. A team only earns the points from their last championship. So, if School X wins a semi-state but loses in state, they receive 3 points total (not 1+2+3 for each championship won).
  2. Circle City Conference brought home four sectional titles, going 13-0 against non-conference competition in the process.
  3. Hardly. As CJB used to say, the game has passed me by. I’m just there to dole out the Bit-O-Honeys.
  4. This has been covered many times over the years. The parochial schools do not limit their enrollments. They have placement exams, not enrollment exams. None of the four are close to full, which means staffs have to be cut. Shockingly, football classifications do not drive or even figure into their conversations. There are other advantages, but limiting enrollment is not one that Roncalli, Chatard, Scecina, or Ritter have the luxury of employing.
  5. Roncalli 21 Mt. Vernon 7 Half - Mt. Vernon will kick to start the half
  6. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that made this happen. BC has a great facility and staff. The Braves were hard-hitting and tough-nosed. Eventually, our ability to two platoon on a hot evening was the difference, but I was impressed by their fight. Best of luck this season! added bonus: Got to meet the great IO last night, as well!
  7. Mooresville returns a ton and should be one of the favorites to come out of the south.
  8. Having grown up in the Region, did you ever make it down to Cincy to ride The Vortex?
  9. That’s pretty much where I’m coming from. I’ve seen next to nothing that I would put stock in stating that high schoolers will not transmit the virus. What I have seen is that the number of state-wide cases is higher than ever. Considering how little is currently being done to stem the tide, I would give us about a 10% chance of ever lacing them up this season.
  10. I have seen both the Iceland and Forbes articles covering youth transmission. Is there other credible information that says high school aged kids are not transmitting the virus?
  11. Do yourself a favor and google the text of my post.
  12. If an offensive lineman is symptomatic on Wednesday night, after going through an entire practice/pos period, are all of the linemen ineligible? They definitely would have spent more than 15 in close proximity and the test would not have had time to come back. if so, what happens when we lose whole position groups?
  13. The numbers don’t lie, and they spell disaster for Samoa Joe at Sacrifice.
