  3. Riverton Parke at Cloverdale - Panthers take it, Clovers are moving the right direction behind Lotz but depth and experience win this one. Covington at Tri County- Seems simple enough Attica at Culver- Coach Dean leads the revamped ramblers to a W Lafayette Central Catholic at Seeger West Vigo at South Vermilion- Visors have some speed and seem athletic in space, WV just doesn't seem up to pace North Central at North Vermilion- Falcons may turn some heads as the season progresses The Woofs at Crawfordsville- your guess is as good as mine
  4. Good to hear for our Riverton. I thought that would have to be a pretty quick fall and had not seen any evidence suggesting them not returning.
  5. Hearing rumblings about the RP Panthers bowing out on the season?
  6. Neither teams best ball. SP made some big moves at LOS as a surprise to both teams, several Lutheran players leaving the game early. Lutheran looked rusty at times with bad timing and drops on deep balls. SP killed themselves with turnovers losing two fumbles on big runs.
  7. Allegedly GC continued to throw the ball because BC ran an 8 man box so they continued to throw as to avoid additional wear and tear on the varsity o-line/running back. 🙄
  8. Couple interesting matchups this week, hard to know if it will be enough to stir the conversation pot in the WIC. BC over Cdale- One would hope the Clovers can see a bit of light in this game but BC wins the numbers game. WV over GC- Hard for me to like a team in purple and a win at Attucks leaves little to be said, WV might actually be playing like the team they always should have been ill take WV by 14. OV over IC- OV had an impressive showing over the Eagles with some size and backs that can lay a beating, IC looks to be much improved and pegs this as the game of the week for me in the WIC. SP over NP- The Eagles are poised to bounce back with a vengeance based on their track record and last weeks foleys, NP looks to be improving as the Moores claw out of the hole the program has been dropped in. Eagles 56-14 Northview over Sullivan- The steady and consistent NV club continues the campaign. 28-17 Peotone over Edgewood- lot of question marks here, who is Peotone? Is Edgewood good or not? Which team am i watching bc i cant tell who is who on this crazy red turf?
  9. Glad to see a WIC thread early in the week, hopefully with more participation this season! I see W's for: OV, SP, IC, Sullivan and Edgewood Tough week one matchups for the rest of the field. I would expect to see a win for Greencastle as they hopefully find an identity this season on offense in the absence of their qb. Hopefully the Cougars can make a 360 from last years season of disorder for lack of better words and find their groove with what should be a capable team. A hard season opener as always for Northview who hopefully grinds out the W. Looks like it could be a tight matchup for West Vigo as well, a lot of good players last year it will be interesting to see how they fill some holes.
  10. Yeah, SP has not seen an offense that can throw a screen or bubble, let alone a qb that can run. SP has only faced glorified homeschool teams from what i have seen as opposed to PH's FBS schedule. Woofs by 50 SP wont even know what is coming since according to my source the HOF'er does not believe in trading film.
  11. No disrespect to any refs who might be reading this. There were just a few bad eggs in that particular group.
  12. This thread has turned into straight comedy. Thats a lot of smack being talked from those backing what is essentially the 3rd place team in the WRC. If you enjoy watching 22 high school age kids play paddy-cake then i am not surprised you enjoy PH games or that you find SP blocking through the whistle and finding opportunities to block downfield to be "dirty". Poking eyes in piles, twisting ankles, and late cheap shots are without a doubt dirty play and unacceptable, three things i have never seen from an SP team. But if you want to side with a set of refs that are typically restricted to calling JV/Jr. High games and are not aware enough to blow the whistle while a 6-3 190 lb (to correct the terrible misquote earlier in the thread)drives Attica's qb backwards and forcing him to finish the tackle then more power to you. If you have the opportunity to review the livestream film you will also see the refs wait long enough to walk over to the qb, see that he is "hurt", then decide to throw the flag. Secondly, the opinion of a team still licking their wounds after their best strategy for stopping SP's run game was to dive and the offensive lineman's ankle and hold on for dear life probably should not hold much water.
  13. Tough scene for the Tiger Cubs.
