This will be the game to watch this week.
  3. My first Oh My has to go to Pike Central for starting 2-0 for the first time since 2004. I know they have a tough schedule remaining for the rest of the year, but congrats to them for getting it done! My second has to go to North Knox's QB who threw for 299 yards last week. North Knox has been a running team ever since HC retired back in 2015. This year is their first year in a spread look and I like what I saw from this kid.
  4. Friday, Aug. 30 Forest Park at Perry Central, 6:30 pm Heritage Hills at Christian Academy (Ky.), 6:30 pm Mount Carmel (Ill.) at Gibson Southern, 7 pm Pike Central at Tecumseh ©, 6:30 pm Princeton at North Posey, 7 pm South Spencer at Mount Vernon, 7 pm Southridge at Boonville, 6:30 pm Tell City at Eastern, 6 pm Washington at Edgewood, 6 pm Give me Forest Park in the first game. Perry Central didn't really show much in their week on game against Tell City. Give me Heritage Hills in this game. I don't know much about Christian Academy, but I have a feeling Heritage Hills will show them Kentucky boys how we do it in Indiana. Give me Gibson Southern in this one. I had a chance to watch Gibson Southern's game last week against Danville and Danville looked good early, but they were able to settle down and take care of business. I think this one will be a blow out. Give me Pike winning two weeks in a row. I know Tecumseh got thrashed last week by a good South Spence team, but I think its close and Pike gets in done late. North Posey in this one. I think that they will run the ball and do what they want against Princeton. Hopefully Princeton can keep it close. Give me Mt Vernon in this game. I think the showed somethings last week and that they might have an outside shot at doing some damage in the PAC this year. Southridge in this game. I was impressed that a young Boonville team was able to keep it close with Paoli. I think Southridge will have to much fire power and their offense will hit to fast for the young Boonville team to keep up with. Terry boys..... Enough said. I do also like Tell City's big center. Washington gets it done again this week. They could be someone you have to watch out for in the big school side. They have a lot of fire power and their QB is a stud.

  12. Paoli wins this one. They will miss Rominger, but I think they have to much fire power for a young Boonville Team. The option is a very hard offense to defend and with how much youth Boonville is going to have, I think it will be to much to handle. Pike wins this one in a close game. Clarksville struggled last year, but I think Pike start the season out with a win. Forest Park wins this one behind all their Seniors. They are going to be interesting to watch this year. They should make some noise in 1A Gibson Southern wins this one. I think it will be a good one to watch, but I think Gibson runs away with it late. Coach Hart knows how to close out games and will have his kids ready to go in week one. Heritage Hills wins this one. I have watched a lot of Heritage Hills this off season and they are great team with a lot of talent coming back. North Posey wins this one. They have their running back coming back for his forth season as a varsity running back. They will probably lean on him early and often this season to get them back to a state title game. Washington wins this one close. North Daviess has their running back coming back for what feels like his tenth season. North Daviess lost their QB from last year, so I think they will struggle early. Washington is going to be a sleeper in the PAC this year. I will be interested to see what they can do this season and into the post season. South Spencer wins this one. Tell city has the Terry boys. Enough said.
  13. 1, 2, and 3A please if there is still room.
  14. Linton has Oliver and a good cast around him. They did lose a few key lineman, but they should still be fine. Oliver is a great player and his father is a good coach. I think they will be fine!
  15. We are very excited to see where our team is at compared to the bigger schools. It will be interesting to see how we do up front with North. They will for sure have some better athletes than us, but we are looking to keep it interesting. Coach Paridaen is a great guy and we loved playing against him when he was at Eastern Greene.
