Sounds like a great fit. Those Washington teams were tough back in the days that Morris mentions.....it will be great for the conference if they can pull it back together. I think they can.

Hanover got a crappy draw in the playoffs with Mt. Union.

I thought conference affiliation did a pretty good job of making regular season games mean something.

And ironically those to games might be the only 2 wins Vincennes has this season. But then there is sectional 30 to look forward to.

Could it be possible that before (Tom Allen and Jeff Brohm) that our instate DII and NAIA schools were enjoying a deeper pool of talent than they should have due to poor in-state recruiting by the D1s? Could that be part of the reason Indiana's lower levels have enjoyed a high level of national success?

I wasn't even referring to your comment...just trying to classify how the debate goes every year. "tear down" probably wasn't the best choice of words..."disagree with" would have been more accurate.

Every year there are obviously multiple posts about why a certain player is really good or why a certain team is really good and as a part of the justification "track times" are mentioned. There are then a subset of folks on here who will tear those comments down with arguments based around "football speed" vs "straight line speed" etc.. The debate will then turn into a discussion around how valid track times are or are not in predicting the success of a football player, and if does matter, how much does it vary at different levels of the game.

I think there is a lot of Brunson talk going on....just not on this board. That said, isn't he the AD or assistant AD at MV? That would seem like a huge factor to me if it is the case.
