That assumes GS wants their second non-conference game as a game with SR. (1st being Southport). Who knows what the staff would like, but more than a few fans would like to see them go out look for something else.

I think Evansville Reitz is over rated nearly every year...so I tend to smile when the prove that. I like how Brownstown Central goes about their business... except when they play us.

Perhaps, with most coaches it depends on who you talk to. My guess is the Warren admin during that time period might get lower marks on a community survey...but that is just a guess.

I think the small school division of the possible new PAC conference in 2020 would be a great fit. They currently only have 7 teams.

It’s amazing anyone in the PAC has ever beaten an SIAC team with those horrid schedules. Oh well, looks like only one more year of that. What will you guys have to bloviate about then? 😂

Either Chatard or Tri-West. Based on the distain the IHSAA has for the P&Ps...my guess is this would be a great opportunity to get Chatard back in the same sectional with Brebeuf and Guerin.

He will be scary good this year (in my humble estimation) and there are no shortage of play makers to go around him this season, the next or the next.

Agree they did their part..ie lobbying etc. Honestly I didn’t think anyone at HH or SR would like this deal...why I said (before I had more info.) that I thought this thing would not fly.

My understanding is that this is a PAC proposal and only effects football. Don’t know why some folks are caught up on the 2 division aspect, why does it matter? You can call them Ketchup and Mustard, the affiliation and administration will lie with the PAC. It’s my understanding SR strongly desires to be in the small division which is fine...the proposal is 100% enrollment based. GS fans...from what I can gather...are excited. I think you will find many inter-division matchups as part of the non “conference/division” schedule.

Keep in mind the 7 team division gives them 3 non-conference games to work with. They could play Jasper, HH and GS or Linton.

This just in.....word on the street is that SR was opposed to this deal until they found out they would be in the small division. Perhaps a banner that says PAC “small division” Champs is appealing? 💁

If I were SR in this deal...I would try to position myself to trade a team in the large school division for my spot in the small school division like Washington for example. Seems like both programs might go for that, maybe I'm wrong.
