I saw this at a recent 11 on 11 event. It was almost like both teams were actually trying to out celebrate each other after a "good" not even great play. This one one-upsmanship through cheering and running around, high fiving, screaming like monkeys etc. just takes away from time for quality reps. The Coaches and kids who are mentally weak enough to participate are just disappointing in my view. What about acting like you have had some success before or trying to maximize your time for quality reps. This is about discipline and we have very little in very few places as a society any more.

They lost 7 starters on offense on 7 on defense. On offense they return 3 OL and the QB (who is a nice player). On defense they return 1 DL, 2 ILBs and 1 DB (also the QB). Their JV lost to HH 37-6 and our JV beat them 53-0. On offense, I think they started a SO at RT 75 Powell and a SO at LG 59 Thomas. I don't think they started any on defense.

I have been there for a sectional game and some youth tournaments and middle school games....the field has been good to us LOL.

6 two way Seniors last year....as for the juniors that played JV (that JV team over there was really bad). We will see....they have a fantastic young "enthusiastic" coaching staff.

Mt. Vernon will tell you that they will take another step forward.

Princeton is large division right? I hear numbers are down and QB quit...but that is just hearsay. I like Coach Schnur a lot.

I'll be straight up with you. After the modifications to the PAC I (personally) now have zero desire to be in the SIAC. My opinion doesn't matter at all to anyone north of the white river and for good reason, but I think VL made a horrible move. I hope they can make the best of it. Don't feel bad, I am often the smartest dude in the room since I was very young, it can be a burden sometimes. (Except when I am a room with Tango).

Most years over the last dozen years or so the PAC will produce at least 1 team that would be in the mix for the top 3 in the SIAC. Over that same time period the PAC always has a team better than Jasper.

Rumor was history of sportsmanship issues.

Well Vincennes came up for vote and was unanimously voted against..

North seemed to also have some offensive line issues to solve, probably all fixable. We had success running (much like at Reitz) but they did a good job getting QB pressure on. I think the young QB has a ways to go but the potential is there for him....they didn't stand out at WR as well as Reitz to me. All in all though very similar team to Reitz.

Gibson Southern was up at Brownsburg this week and was fortunate to scrimmage Kankakee, IL, Huntley IL, Evansville North and Brownsburg. GS showing dramatic improvements in secondary play based on some earlier events...but that is why we do these right.

I think almost every coach would like to at least see the top 2 teams placed on opposite sides of the sectional bracket (Sagarin is fine).
