Interesting that a small faction of the ESPN (who is in bed with the SEC) slappies are actually not toeing the company line and speaking their mind about this...
"Michigan 100 percent catches my eye," McCulley said. "I wanna get up there as soon as possible."
Apparently he disagrees with IU’s new football coach.
Saw this one today…
“With Ohio State QB Kyle McCord in the transfer portable, does that mean the CFB Committee should replace OSU with another team in the NY6 Cotton Bowl?
I mean, if your starting QB isn't playing, them's the rules!”
Day pumping up Stroud’s numbers and throwing late in blowout games is one of the main factors in McCord’s lack of development at OSU. He rarely took Stroud off the field despite the score. McCord didn’t get enough snaps in my opinion. It’s Day’s fault.
JJ had some “packages” he got on the field in during his freshman year and got out there in blowout wins. That was it.
Now, that being said, OSU’s bar for success at the QB position is so high and has made for unrealistic expectations. McCord is pretty damn good and will land on his feet somewhere.
All great points.
McElroy did an about face yesterday after saying 6 days ago that “no one loss team should jump an undefeated power 5 team.”
He received his company marching orders.
