  1. I’d say that bodes well for Harrison’s future.
  2. Wilson is a “transfer” from Howe (closed its doors last spring.)
  3. Hope you are right. I have my doubts. I did say first to 40 wins earlier this week... Lets see. Covenant’s QB on the take?
  4. Carbon copy of yesterday. 11am time slot is entertaining. Other two are lopsided.
  5. The difference in speed here is immense...
  6. Gotta also have that administrative buy in you always speak of too, right? The coach can’t do it all alone. That being considered, who do you see in that 17-40 range (looking long term) that could be the next Center Grove? (I’ve got 4-5 ideas, let’s see if we agree.)
  7. The other 20 percent must look at Luers’ record? Sorry, I had to. No conference in the state more polarizing to me than the SAC.
  8. Oh boy...get the scoreboard operator ready...
  9. Come on now. They had that sectional thriller over Noblesville in 2019.
  10. I see. Now what do the super 16 teams NOT named Center Grove need to do to close the gap on “Alabama?”
  11. That was not a situation unique to Westfield. CG did that to everyone this season. They never gave up more than 14 points in a game. Even when they got down 14-0 to LN, they then rattled off 28 in a row. Still say the trajectory of the game could have changed early had Westfield had the stones to go for it in 4th and 2 from midfield. That could’ve changed things had they converted and gone down to score.
  12. I’d love to see it. I really would. CG also sorta bucks the enrollment argument. Less than 2700 students, right in the middle of the 6A field. What have they figured out that others haven’t?
  13. I don’t. Cathedral/Zionsville may be as lopsided as Roncalli/Hobart.
  14. I actually sorta agree here and while you’ve addressed the P/P debate endlessly, where do you stand on 6A? Does something need done in order to restore competitive balance as you call it? If so, what? What do the other 6A teams need to do (on/off the field) in order to close the gap?
  15. No one said they’re were a clear cut greatest of all-time but the star/recruiting rankings don’t lie. 6A may have been down but it did not “stink”. The talent was not spread around much this year. Center Grove and Brownsburg were loaded with talent and the remaining 30 teams had a stud here or there. Under normal circumstances it may be tempting to also look at margin of victory but with the running clock not being in effect for some of those great BD/Warren teams, that becomes difficult.
  16. Center Grove doesn’t need to score more than 20 to win with that defense...regardless of the opponent.
  17. Guess they’ll have to “settle” for 4/6.
  18. The argument could be made that Westfield played CG better than any of the big three in the MIC, no? The games played out differently but Westfield’s margin of defeat (24) was less than Carmel’s (42), BD’s (average of 29) and Warren’s (average of 29)... They shut them out in the second half...and NO CG was not letting off the gas.
  19. So where does that leave Chatard (the team that beat Roncalli by 21)? The king of hyperbole I tell ya...
  20. Nope. BD had two shots...both at home. Lost by an average of 29.
  21. Loaded with D1 talent on both sides of the ball. Not that far fetched.
  22. Please don’t try to diminish CG. Your statement could be true but is a bit insulting. The Trojans won their games by an average of 35 points per game this season. If 6A “weren’t down” maybe they only win by an average of 25? Come on...
