  1. Not sure “earned” is the word you want to utilize here...
  2. Not in 2020. NFL teams under 50 percent at home thus far and college football teams winning at the lowest clip (59 percent) in 18 years...
  3. Slightly IMO. Saw their win over a Mooresville team that I respect highly.
  4. Penn State Michigan Nebraska Tennessee Florida State Once proud programs who’ve been staples of the sport as long as I can remember...a combined 6-19.
  5. Just some self care. Nothing more, nothing less.
  6. I’ve noticed...I’ve been around.
  7. Football used to be immune. Not anymore.
  8. Yep. Even more so in a Covid year. Gap growing by the day.
  9. Should be competitive in nearly all classed sports but not challenging for state titles in the country club (golf, tennis, swimming, XC) sports.
  10. Assume the Irish are remotely learning on Friday? VIrginia Caine gave Marion County schools (not sure if privates are exempt) until November 30th to go fully remote. If so, they can hit I-69 early, huh? If not?
  11. Cool stat and I wonder if its ever been beaten. Covenant Christian and Ben Davis playing for state championship berths Friday night and their campuses are just over 1 mile apart...
  12. Can Danville (the most successful public school head to head against Chatard recently) do the unthinkable in two weeks?
  13. If nothing else, 2020 has taught us the true value of home field advantage... College football teams winning at home at about a 59 percent clip whereas NFL home teams are under .500 (49 percent)... Actually sorta empowering as a fan. Thoughts?
  14. This ended their season in the playoffs too.
  15. I heard a whistle.
  16. Do Harbaugh, Fleck and Franklin survive 2020 and get a “Covid pass?” Once thought of as three brilliant minds whose upside was phenomenal and about to be a combined 2-10...
  17. I, too, thought Whiteland had a fighting chance. This’ll be the closest game Cathedral has in the tournament.
  18. Might have been over when it was scheduled but I thought the wind officially left the Warriors’ sails after their goal line went for naught in the second quarter.
  19. I’ll take a stab and say 4-6? Folks love to throw out ridiculous numbers... Back to the topic at hand, do either of these publics stand a chance next week?
  20. They could’ve folded early but didn’t. Great resilience.
  21. Pioneer is an awesome feel good story and seems to be the public school exception to the multiplier. One week after taking down big bad Andrean, they get Luers. They've gained a fan.
  22. 35-12 the first time, semantics. BD’s improvement has been neat to see but I foresee another beat down by the Trojans in this one. Running clock.
  23. Nobody gonna feel sorry for the Hounds as the conspiracy theorists thought they should have been in the south bracket all along. It does suck that they suffered an injury to their starting QB in the sectional and decided their next best option was a converted WR... He was not very good..
