  1. I thought the first PI in OT was a bad call. Seen far worse not called. Rough call, especially in OT of a playoff game.
  2. Sucked. Always thought a tie went with receiver and he was down by contact. Now guess roll on ground is part of “completing” the catch. No review.
  3. throw the wind in as well....wow!!
  4. I look at the cumulative strength week in and week out. Bet the overall SOS for the regular season even stronger than this season. I’m not saying this season easy or that an individual matchup wasn’t more challenging.
  5. Let’s go Book!!
  6. You missed your call Muda...certainly a mega-qualified urban investment planner.....
  7. I totally get that....no doubt. Wish that wasn't the case, but we all know how that works. I am just trying to see the "overall greater good" and think what it could mean to that area.
  8. Purely speculation. Because it happened in Michigan, doesn't mean it has to be the case everywhere. Additionally, you don't talk about the revenue and opportunities it brought it over its life. (31 years) That region of NW Indiana needs a big time kickstart. Investing in its infrastructure may be exactly what is needed to lure other business investment into the area. Its not going to happen without some level of investment. I get its a risk....but one worth taking into an area that needs it. At the end of the day, no balls, no babies.
  9. I hope you are right, but IU's schedule next year will be even more of a challenge with North Texas, Ohio State, Michigan, Washington, and USC on the schedule. Minnesota, Northwestern and at Nebraska won't be cakewalks either. Chocked full of playoff and 2025/26 bowl winners in 2026.
  10. Coach, correct me if i am mistaken, aren't the Bears funding their own stadium? At least I thought the was the case for Arlington Heights. The stickler for Arlington Heights was that the state was also forcing all of the infrastructure costs onto the Bears as well unless I got that wrong. Would the Bears still plan on investing the funds for the stadium in northern Indiana or does that change?
  11. After all, why would we want an area in desperate need of development, developed? Why in the world would we want employment for people? Why would we want infrastructure improvements for the region? Why we want to lure people to an area historically seen as not desireable? Let's just stay the same and never invest in the future....yea...that's the ticket!! What a visionary!! 🙄
  12. IU moving to the top of the portal transfer class.
  13. Wow....$2M to sit and watch in the college ranks. I bet after starting for Nebraska, he didn't originally envision going to Oregon and sitting for a season. I could be wrong....
  14. How is this going to work out? One is going to be a highly paid backup QB for Oregon?? Did Raiola sign? How much?
  15. Heck yes....its always about the belt buckle for me!!
  16. ACC...that dominant football conference...how many ACC teams made the CFB?
  17. Big get!!!
  18. Read that....what are your thoughts?? That's 3/4 of a regular season.
  19. Do you know or are you speculating? I have researched this and found nothing to date as to why such animosity and disrespect. But if you have something factual to add, please do. Be a man, shake your opponents hand after a hard fought game to show respect and sportsmanship....act like the vast majority of your players. Is this really too much to ask a "professional head coach"? If you say it is, well I find your views justifying this behavior "comical".
  20. may have been previously mentioned individually, but a summary https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/indiana-football-lands-trio-high-185616198.html
  21. I'm skeptical as well....feels like its an "option" driven to put pressure on the city of Chicago/state of Illinois. Would love to know what opinions were shared by Goodell.
  22. Such an investment could really make a difference in an area that needs it desperately.....that is why politicians on both sides of the aisle will support.
  23. Sorry...bad choice of words. Rant perhaps? I'm actually less about the locker room and more about the behavior leaving the field. So its asking too much to look another man in the eyes, shake his hand, congratulate him and his team on the season? Its asking to much to win and lose with grace? As I stated, I would understand more if LeFleur had caused issues with Johnson in the past, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. I am no psychologist, but to have disdain for someone, simply because they are a competitor, to the point you can't demonstrate an ounce of respect after competition....well that's head scratching to me. We don't see this often especially in the professional ranks, and I think we expect more out of men...men that are role models. Heck, players that have beat on each other during the game, acknowledge each other, shake hands, trade jerseys, pray together, etc. I get your a big fan of Coach Johnson, but doesn't mean you shouldn't expect better from a coach leaving the field. I've said enough...guess we shall agree to disagree.
