  1. yup...its being discussed on the IU 2026 thread
  2. Muda, a sign of true wisdom for a human being is knowing their limitations. If you can't accept that a man that had dedicated his life to football coaching (regardless of the level) understands the game at a deeper level than yourself, I am not sure what to tell you. Its just fine to have opinions that differ from Coach's, but instead of the last "cute" statement, why not just try to accept that while Coach isn't always 100% right (no one is) how about trying to give him some credit about his knowledge of this complex game. He's earned it.
  3. 16-0 good...only 2nd team in the history of college football to pull that off. Along the final stretch, beat Ohio State, Alabama, Oregon (2nd time) and Miami. Non-biased fans of the game would call that great. Just sayin' Coach.
  4. He's a redshirt freshman. As 23 stated, the plan was to use Hoover for one year, and continue his Alberto's development, then assuming Alberto earns it, would give him 2 years as a starter. Now, perhaps he can get a bigger paycheck, as rumors indicate he may be heading to Georgia Tech. Perhaps he would get on the field quicker, not sure. It would be big shoes to fill at IU, and comparisons to his brother would be rough.
  5. Pretty small group of schools.
  6. I’m out of kudos….so thumbs up for your post. My first game at Memorial Stadium was 1976, watching a tough loss to North Carolina State 24-21. I was in 7th grade. Never ever did I think this could happen in my wildest dreams. 16-0, National Champs, Big 10 Champs, Rose Bowl Champs, and Heisman Trophy winner. Don’t wake me up! I’m enjoying this dream!!!
  7. Time to start thinking about next season. Not sure accuracy. If so, not wasting time. I thought portal was closed.
  8. Totally agree....24 way too many. I guess next year's title game is a week later than this years game. Getting ridiculous.
  9. Guess he went with the team that beat his team for his pick. Perhaps he was trying to keep in solid graces with the ACC. He did look uncomfortable when asked to pick. He did say his heart was with Indiana.
  10. Absolutely true. Kind of glad Desmond and Saban picked against the Hoosiers once again. Don’t need them on the bandwagon now. But they cannot refute 16-0. Their teams never accomplished that mark. And that burns Saban that one of his former guys bested him, thumping his old school along the way.
  11. Agree about McDermott....didn't see that coming. Wondering where he lands? ESPN Rex Ryan was advocating for Belichick this morning for the Bills HC job. Just not sure....but then again, who else is out there? Tomlin??
  12. Don’t put much in these, but both IU and ND in top 5…
  13. NE should have the inside track to the Super Bowl with the Nix injury. Rams and Hawks play again. Should be a classic
  14. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1FXHRDRiRp/?mibextid=wwXIfr Pretty cool!
  15. Great coach!
  16. Comments from a pretty darn good former NFL DB. Forget his photos and take note of his comments.
  17. Simply beautiful
  18. People that are attaching the still photos (in this case a former NFL QB) also watched the game live and watched countless video. I have watched countless video of the play. I understand you have thin skin when an official at any level takes on some heat. Well, that's life. It comes with the territory and last night, some heat is more than deserved. Not having thorough replay assessment of the catch/interception immediately folllowing the play was flat out terrible.
  19. Time to bring out the vintage Bison!!
  20. And it’s tough to stomach the “rules analyst” on TV coverage who will typically side with the field crew. Said he felt in this case, the grab and pull “wasn’t enough” to warrant the PI call. Yet arguably it was more obvious than the first PI call against the Bills in OT.
