Memorial should voluntarily go to 5A in 2024. 4A is tougher than 5A until Semi-State.

I wouldn't pencil in Reitz in a Regional until they actually win more than 2 games in a Sectional..

We've played at other fields too, but not to accommodate a game specific time, only if there was Friday night conflict. EC had a choice between Saturday early evening or Friday night. They picked Friday night. Good luck to you guys too.

The INC pass ruled TD in the 1st Q was big gut punch. It took us a while to recover.

The question is can L-burg get over the Regional drought? Its been since 2016 and they came pretty close last year. Nevertheless, winning 6 Sectional titles in 7 years is pretty impressive.

I don't think there is any way around it. IMO it looked far worse than what it really was and the ref could easily just have given him a PF. To eject a kid when there isn't a "fight" seems harsh, knowing at the point the game was all but over and it would mean he had to sit out.

About the only thing I would describe as potentially being a weakness for EC is the kicking game. The big question is whether Memorial can keep the game close enough for it to ever matter. By the way, EC Trojan Media does a really nice job with their livestream broadcasts.

MD was a little more stout on the DL last year, but I would definitely give the Cats the edge playing at Reitz Bowl. Rain isn't going to impact the game as much as it would on Linton's grass.

That probably has more to do with the IHSAA not wanting to have an inordinate amount of time between the end of a running clock game and the start of the next game. Logistically it would be impossible to start a game early.

EC is probably out of school on Friday for Veteran's Day. The Saturday conflict between the Regional football game and the Bosse craft show was definitely an issue last year. The Tigers will have our hands full in this one. Yep, Mt. Vernon Fortville broke the jinx last year. I believe Coach Lidy wearing shorts in sub-35 degree weather may have somehow offset the effects of the Enlow "Eastern to Central Time Zone Travel spell".

Maybe more of a feeling that Reitz looked past Boonville. Having seen what Reitz was capable of doing on either side of the ball, and seeing what they did (or more correctly, didn't do against Boonville), I myself wonder if the Panthers hadn't overlooked the Pioneers a little bit.

Overall that is a good showing. Won 3 of the 4 sectionals that included SIAC teams. All 3 face tough matchups this week though.

Pretty impressive. Don't forget 22 straight wins, which is the longest win streak in SW Ind in quite a while
