  1. ABSOLUTE BUSH LEAGUE move by Triton Central last night.  Webo takes 4 consecutive knees and turns the ball over on downs to run the clock out.... TC gets the ball, throws a pass... I’m thinking Ok, wants to get a kid 1 last touch... Then Takes a TO with 1.4 sec left and throws and scores... I have heard nothing but good things about Coach Abel, but that was absolutely classless.

Cant help but seeing this thread. Best young coach in the state is by far our warriors k.c woods! Probably best coach in the state behind that new pal boy. Woods has done a hell of a job here with our warriors!

Ill second this as well. Those stars have been rollin! Hell of a coach and has built an amazing program.

I would agree with your 2nd statement.  LOL.  I don't have anything bad to say about KC... I'd just take my guy over yours.  LOL

Not mad at all. Thought we represented ourselves pretty well for moving up to 3A and losing our All-State caliber QB. Just pointing out what I feel is an obvious flaw in the system. Some of you dudes try and turn EVERYTHING into an argument and it really is annoying/tiresome.

Glad you all got a new field though.

I'm not arguing... I am not trying to turn everything into an argument... And some of you dudes want to make an excuse about getting beat pretty handily in Semi State last year.

No matter what system is in place there will be someone/school/group of fans that don't like it.  Yes, Webo's last 2 years have been successful and they were lucky to split the cycle.  No one knew 4 years ago that they would drop down to 2A from 3A based on enrollment.

Had ONE goal - but at the expense of others?? Just the "unintended consequences" argument?? Ya it made some P/P play up some classes a few years, but what of the obvious FLAWS in the system?? Like a school could win back-to-back States and have no repercussions??

You mad, bro?  Eastbrook could go to back to back State Finals games with no repercussions also...

A true system of promotion/relegation would be better.  Then enrollment would not matter,  just the strength of the program.

How would you do that with 300+ Schools Muda?  Honestly, I am very curious if not enrollment... How do you break 300+ football playing schools into 6 classes?

Should other things factor into whether a team gets bumped up or has to stay up a class besides just the number of wins? If so, I wonder what would be considered? Free and Reduced lunch count? The availability of certain forms of technology that not every school possesses?

    Endzone Cameras.  LOL

So private schools like Park Tudor and Noll have to move up classes because Cathedral, Andrean, LCC and Chatard are good?

And 8th grade & Freshman classes havae to play up a class because a small public school had 2 solid classes.

I don't know what the answer is.  The 4 year cycle with throwing out the good year and throwing out the bad year could be interesting... But aren't you still punishing some kids for the success of 1 or 2 classes?

I just dont understand why people keep bringing up "needing a good passing game"    This isnt the NFL, it isnt college,  you can have a really great running scheme, run the ball 98% of the time, and still win.  IMAGINE THAT.

3 possibilites during a passing play, and 2 of them are bad. ill take my chances getting 4 yards and a cloud of dust, and must moving the ball at will.  I know its not pretty, its not exciting, but it WINS.

He is a special player for sure.

We have won all year doing just that.

You guys played Danville.  Were they healthy when the game was played?  I know that WB and HH run a similar offense and it appeared to me that WB ran it efficiently against Danville.  I know you favor SAC brethren, I get that, but when WB and Danville play each other, is that a big rivalry game??  Who normally has the upper hand in this series??  Just curious is all

    They were healthy.

It was a conference game and in my opinion it wasn't as close as the score says it was.  We had a TD get called a fumble (because the official was out of position, think Zach Ertz TD a couple of years ago in the Super Bowl)... we ran for 400+ and the game was at Danville.  We also were driving at the end of the game (inside the 10) and Danville chose not to call their last 2 TOs and they let the clock expire.  Webo put together back to back drives that were 80+ yards (I think one was 90+).

    2019--20-14 Webo

    2018--46-6 Webo

    2017--14-6 Danville

    2016--33-17 Danville

    2015--28-14 Webo

I was watching the Western Boone broadcast of this game on YouTube last night.  They were saying that last night's win puts Western Boone in 3A next year.  Is that right?  I always thought they counted the success factor points in specific 2-year cycles and that 2017 and 2018 made one specific cycle and 2019 and 2020 make another.  The person doing the broadcast seemed to think it was any 2 consecutive years,

    2017 - 1 point

    2018 - 4 points

    2019 - at least 2 points

So they were a point short of moving up after last season.  The way I understood the rule was that 2018 doesn't matter anymore and teams won't move again based on success factor until the completion of 2020 when those points are added with 2019.

    Does anyone know for sure?

No they are wrong.  This is the 1st year of the cycle.  2019 & 2020 results will determine 2021 Sectionals & Success factor
