  1. 16-0 is 16-0, period. You can say other teams COULD have done it, blah, blah, blah, we will never know. What we do know is Indiana did do it. Period. End of story. Until another does it, Indiana is on an island all by themselves. Good luck on getting there to any team. It is not easy.
  2. Plenty of transfers that Indiana got in 2025 were available to everyone, Pat Coogan from Notre Dame quickly comes to mind, several others as well that were not JMU transfers. Funny, JMU is a group of 5 school that gives IU an advantage??? Ok… Is Cignetti the first coach in the country that realized that getting 22-24 year olds was better than 4-5 star players that are 19-20? It sure seems like it. Proof is in the results. Been an IU fan all my life, it is ridiculous to me that IU football won a national title, much less the Big 10, a bowl game, won 10+ games in a season for the first time in school history, beat Ohio State for the first time since 1987, I could go on and on… These are new times for IU fans. My daughter went to Purdue for 4 years and loved it. I root for Purdue except against Indiana so I love what the basketball team is doing at Purdue. Compare that to the absolute train wreck that has been going on at IU for a long time. Cheers to the Big 10 for winning 3 straight national titles in football!!! Hoping the Big 10 can get one in basketball as it has been something like 25 years since the last one
  3. Great post!!! Saban was the champion of cheating during his SEC coaching tenure. $100 handshakes for everyone and new cars for starters
  4. Please stop with the roster 23 year olds that NOBODY else wanted. You know, the zero and one star players that somehow developed into a national title team. It was laughable to watch the CFP that teams had 50-60 3 star and better recruits while IU is at 8 four star recruits. Pretty much every one of the players were available to every team out there and they passed, including Purdue. As far covering the spread, which Indiana easily covered the first 2 games of the CFP, does that win you a title? No. I think I saw somewhere where Indiana, who was 16-0, was 13-3 against the spread this year, probably right around the best in the country. If you bet on Indiana every game this year, you made good money
  5. Indiana covered the spread really well this year, but thank you for your contribution. By the way, they covered easily against your Boilers…😂
  6. Any team can be beaten, very few finish unbeaten so not hard to quantify. Nobody, other than 1894 Yale, went 16-0 so that is unmatched.
  7. Greatest team in the history of college football. Only other team to go 16-0 was Yale in 1894. By the way, I will take Indiana -56 points against Yale…
  8. The level of disrespect all year to the Hoosiers by some of the media was just astounding. Who the “experts” pick means nothing as to who wins the game, but all of the college game day crew except McAfee picked Miami. Ridiculous
  9. Indiana wins it!!! 16-0 baby!!!
  10. Mendoza is one tough m’fer!!!
  11. Going into this game, I thought Indiana’s defense vs. Miami’s offense was a big mismatch in favor of the Hoosiers and the 1st half showed that. I think Indiana’s offense gets going in the 3rd quarter and opens this game up and the Hoosier defense continues to locking down Miami’s offense
  12. Total yards: Indiana - 169 Miami - 63
  13. Indiana 10 - Miami 0 at halftime. Hoosiers really controlling this game. Feels like the Hoosiers should be up more
  14. Let’s go Hoosiers!!!
  15. Good analysis. Here are some thoughts: 1. Compare the offenses, there is nothing offensively that Miami does better. QB, receivers, running backs, offensive line 2. Compare the defenses. IU’s defense is straight nasty. Gave up 3 points to Alabama, 10 points to Ohio State, Oregon got 22 points, most in garbage time, Iowa 15 points, Illinois 10 points. Indiana has scored almost 500 more points than then their opponents, just ridiculous. 3. Special teams is a big edge to the Hoosiers. 4. Coaching is hugely tilted to IU, not even close. 5. Turnover margin is a big edge to IU. Look, in a one game shot, sure, anything can happen. Miami deserves to be here. Miami gave up 27 points to Ole Miss when the Rebels only had the ball for 18 minutes of game time in which they gave up 398 yards to Ole Miss. That will not work against IU. How are they stopping IU? Unless Indiana turns the ball over multiple times, which hasn’t happened all year, Indiana controls this game. I don’t see where Miami holds Indiana below 31 points at the minimum and I can’t see Miami scoring above 21 points in any scenario.
  16. Like I said, I can’t wait. It’s like Alabama fans all over again…
  17. Miami fan base and media are just off their rockers. Basically saying Indiana had an easy schedule and they haven’t played anyone as good as Miami and that Miami’s schedule is better and has prepared them to handle Indiana.
  18. Before the semi-final games were played and they were projecting potential matchups, Indiana was a 5.5 point favorite, after the semi games, they opened at a 7 point favorite, then went to 7.5 and are now an 8.5 point favorite
  19. I can’t wait until Monday night. I am tired of hearing Miami fans say Indiana is overrated and hasn’t played the schedule they have. Freaking joke!!! My prediction for this game is going to sound disrespectful to Miami, it really isn’t, but Indiana is THAT team this year, Indiana wins 42-10
  20. Great post and it sums up exactly the way it is for Notre Dame going forward. They can continue to live in the past as they have been doing forever, or they can become adaptable to what the landscape of college football is TODAY and move forward. 9 conference games in the Big 10 which includes their rivalry game with USC, play Navy every year as they have for 70 years as one of their non-conference games, and 2 other non-conference games as well. They have that needed conference affiliation so they don’t get shut out of the CFP and they can really grow their rivalry base with Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, and Penn State.
  21. I knew it was a joke, but I had to get some bashing on ESPN being the SEC’s bit**
  22. Anything associated with ESPN/SEC is a joke…
  23. Complete and total disrespect to the Hoosiers. Look, they have the #1 portal class in the country coming in. Players are beating down the door to become a Hoosier. Rankings are trash anyways, but damn…
  24. Indiana opens as a 7.5 point favorite against Miami
