  1. Can you blame any of them? IU football has been a dumpster 🔥
  2. I have full confidence that the officials could and would adjust to 7 man crews. Example, MLB uses 4 man crews throughout the regular season and goes to 6 man crews for the playoffs
  3. No worries. Don’t want to argue about it, you have your opinion, which I respect, just see it differently
  4. I like your idea sir. As the games grow in importance, not only should you have the best officials, but adding a couple to avoid missed calls should be considered a good thing. Alas, the IHSAA stands in the way, shocker
  5. Quite a bit actually. What don’t you understand? There have been many years 2A football was really good and deep with 8-10 teams that could win a title. Not this year. Go back and watch 2A South and tell me that is good football. It’s not. Did it have some close games? Sure. Again, was it good football? I enjoy 1A and 2A football. I am not one of those people who bash on lower class football and think that 5A and 6A are the be all and end all. There have been so many great teams in 2A like Mater Dei, Luers, Eastside, LCC , etc… This year just was not one of those years. It happens
  6. I disagree. If you didn’t see LCC vs Luers in the semi-state from the beginning of the tourney not sure what to tell you. Please don’t even get me started on the South. There was quite a bit of banter amongst Luers and LCC fans how these were not even close to their best teams and they were shocked they got to semi-state, much less the winner going to state. Great year for North Posey, but all it took for me was to see one possession offensively for them to know they had zero chance against Luers and it would end up a blowout. Everyone knew from day 1 it would be Lutheran vs. Adams Central in 1A. No surprise there. Unlike some, I think Luers would beat both of them, but North Posey would get smoked by both teams 2A North was far superior to 2A South. Bluffton and Eastside were goodLCC was good as well. Top to bottom, 2A is better than 1A, but at the very top, 1A might be better
  7. Eastside the last few years yes, not this year. Bluffton has improved greatly the last few years, but I did not see them beating Luers this year, some others did though. Woodlan had some really good teams when Haydock was there, not so much after he left for Wayne. Churubusco was really good for a 5-10 year period and then the bottom fell out. Really interested to see who steps out of the shadows with Luers gone for at least 2 years. My money is on Eastside, Adams Central, and Bluffton until someone proves differently
  8. Lots of discussion about how down 2A was this year. I thought it was the worst class of football in Indiana this year by a wide margin
  9. Gotta include those incoming freshman so it could be above 80 D1 players, just sayin I would think that EC will reload, not rebuild. Maybe I am wrong, but I would think they have a good talent base to build from
  10. With Snider moving up to 6A, I would love to see Northrop take Snider’s spot in 5A and Snider take Northrop’s spot in 6A. If that is the case, it would be Snider, Homestead, HSE, and Fishers. Pretty good sectional in my opinion
  11. I raise you by saying neither makes semi-state
  12. I believe overall that 5A will be deeper in 2024. Hopefully, some new teams step up to the plate and create some better competition
  13. QB Sorsby has entered the transfer portal, he had 15td’s, 5 int’s, not bad
  14. First, I never bashed Center Grove’s schedule. They play one of the toughest schedules in the state, along with Ben Davis, Cathedral, etc… My point of contention has been East Central and the ludicrous claim by a few people that they are one of the top 2 teams in the state while playing a soft schedule. Let’s be honest, if EC played Ben Davis, Center Grove, Brownsburg, or Cathedral’s schedule, they would be fortunate to be 10-3, likely 9-4
  15. Know several 6A teams looking for opponents, like Center Grove, Cathedral, and others. They take on all comers
  16. You’re right, you beat who was on the schedule. Where are the 6A teams on that schedule? EC knew this was going to be a great year, schedule up and challenge yourself
  17. I could argue the Big 10 does as well and I am a fan of the Big 10
  18. The Indy Star started the bias many years ago and they basically drew a line that anything South of Muncie is “Indy” area and North of Muncie is pretty much irrelevant. You’ve been around long enough to know this as that hasn’t been a secret
  19. That would be a shame since Texas beat Alabama fair and square in Alabama. Not a fan of either team, but head to head tilts it to Texas, especially winning at Bama
  20. Nah, he had it right. The few of you basking in the glory of Indy based teams trying to skew reality is bad enough. Look, it is all opinion as these games won’t happen this year. All of us have said EC had a great year, but who did they beat that is worth anything? 4 loss Moeller? Who else? Nobody…
  21. Don’t throw facts in this, doesn’t fit their narrative. Snider obliterated Warren at Warren yet several weeks later that same Warren team went to Ben Davis and lost on a last minute field goal They played who again…
  22. Not sure bout that, if Texas wins and they should, they get in before Bama…
  23. Let’s be honest, Snider left at least 14 points off the board with silly mistakes and questionable play calling to be nice about it. The game really was never in doubt. DC obviously had a nice season and now they need to build on it. With EC coming up to 5A, there are no guarantees on getting back to LOS
