WRC 2026 way too early thread.
Lucy Draper replied to BillyBettis's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Probably the worst take I've seen in the history or the GID. Dude has more heart and desire in his left testicle than you've ever had in your entire body Pat. -

I think he's the 7th all-time leading scorer in IHSAA history -
WRC 2026 way too early thread.

I think Jacob Earl would beat Stephanie White in a one on one basketball game. She's a better shooter than him on the perimeter, but I think he out-physicals her under the basket. -
There are some great players in the WRC this year. It really is hard to pick one as the best. Leonard, Schelsky, Foxworthy, Pickle, Cole....what a list. Leonard and Schelsky are deadly accurate shooters. Foxworthy's overall athleticism is impressive. Cole's knowledge of the game gives him an advantage. But at the end of the day, I feel like you have to put Pickle at the top of the list due to his ability to consistently penetrate.

I care Muda69. Thank you for sharing this. I care Gipper. Case Arena gets me hot. -
1A State Tournament: OFFICIAL Thread
Lucy Draper replied to temptation's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I would love to know how many of the teams being discussed in this thread use drones to film their games? The IHSAA doesn't allow drones in their tournament. -
Wabash River Conference Week 8
Lucy Draper replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
I would be happy to talk drones with you Billiam! Using drones to film high school football games offers an unparalleled viewing experience. I think Moore's PH squads caught flack because people were jealous of the Alpha male dominance energy that he continuously exudes. They couldn't beat him so they took shots at them dominating a weak conference. They was all jelly and you have to admit it. In Barrett's case, it probably came back to jealousy again. Probably a bunch of dudes with male pattern baldness who felt physical pain viewing the way Greg's flowing mane cascades out of that visor. They couldn't replicate his hair, so they took shots at the wildcats dominating a weak conference. Jelly again. Or it could be that there are several folks in the area who hate Rockville and Clinton, and don't mind places like Zoomtown, Rosedale and Mecca. Theories abound!!!! -
Wabash River Conference Week 8
Lucy Draper replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Men of Troy vs. Rambler Dan Men of Troy get the win and cement themselves as winners of week 8. Falcons vs. Mustangs Mustangs are peaking as the play-offs approach, just like the hall of famer planned all along. Another masterful job done by Prince Herb this year. Panthers vs. Wolfs Panthers will beat the Wolfs but I think it could be close for a while. RP is primed to be the next conference team to make a run to Lucas Oil stadium. The talent is there, but do the players believe it will happen? I know the coaches believe WIldcats vs. Seeger Seeger big. I could be wrong, but I think it would suck to have a huge sign hanging by your football field that says something like "tradition doesn't rebuild, it reloads", especially since the guy who hung the sign up dipped with an impending rebuild coming up. -
Wabash River Conference Week 7
Lucy Draper replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Of course not. Brian Moore was being pursued for the job before the 2017 football season was over while he was still an assistant coach at Fountain Central. Coincidentally, the Fountain Central job also came open after the 2017 season and Moore chose the Wolfs over his alma mater. This fateful decision allowed him to become the only person ever to win Sectional Championships as the head coach of three different WRC schools, cementing his legacy as the best coach in the history of the Wabash River Conference. Brian Moore was pulled over for speeding recently. He let the police officer off with a warning. The dinosaurs looked at Brian Moore the wrong way once....only once. -
Wabash River Conference Week 6

North Vermillion @ Attica - This one is too close to call, so whichever team does a Haka in pregame will be the winner. Wolfs @ Men of Troy - There will be Wolf scats all over Herb's yard after the Parke Heritage victory tonight. Did he get the Mustang poop cleaned up from two weeks ago? Seeger @ Fountain Central - Game of the week. KIng Herb, Prince, and JacobAllen will have much to celebrate tonight. Mustangs beat the Pats, and it won't be as close as some think. Hopefully Herb stretches before the game because he's going to be doing his PAT kick signal several times tonight. Don't want to pull a hammy. South Vermillion @ Riverton Parke - Panthers come out fast to prove that their slow start last week against the Falcons was a fluke. HIghest number stray dogs running the streets of WRC towns and villages rankings: 1. Perrysville 2. Mecca 3. Montezuma 4. Newport -

Wabash River Conference Week 5

Do any teams in the WRC do the Haka in their pre-games? I'm having trouble recalling which ones. I think it could be extremely effective in certain situations. -
I think doing the Haka in pre-game is good for a 2-3 touchdown swing, but it can't solve all inequity. I agree with you that if all teams were serious about winning, you would see Haka vs Haka in pre-games throughout the land.
-
I think Fountain Central beats Riverton Parke if Herb would have had them do the Haka in pre-game. You might put a bug in his ear for the Sectional.
-
Thank you for contributing. I haven't been able to verify yet, but I was told that Carmel, Gibson Southern and Linton all do the Haka in pre-game. I wouldn't be surprised, given the success of those programs.
-
Which Indiana high school football teams are doing the Haka, the traditional Maori ceremonial war dance, during pre-game? I believe doing the Haka is an incredibly effective way to intimidate your opponent, thereby gaining a psychological advantage before the ball is ever put into play. Please list Haka teams below.

I just can't believe that we have little unmanned helicopters hovering above high school football games for the purposes of collecting film. I wish Papa Jahari could be here to see it.

Wabash River Conference Week 4
Lucy Draper replied to Donnie Baker's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
How many schools in the WRC are using drones to film their games this season? Is it one, is it two? Three or four or five schools now? 6 - 7? or all 8? 🫁 🙀 -
I was talking to a coach about this recently. They have a team of two students for drone operation on game nights. He said they never have a problem finding a drone team because the kids really enjoy it. They have the students take a drone safety course, and then some in person training, before they are allowed off into the wild blue yonder during a game.
-
How will we know whether this is accurate or not if no one researches this trending phenomenon? I'm out here doing the Lord's work and you're lobbing criticism from the cheap seats. I aim to get to the bottom of the drone film revolution with, or without your support sir.
-
So you don't think there are any teams that purchased a drone for filming since last year? You are behind the times and the game is going to pass you by, like it did to an old coach/chef friend of mine many years ago.
-
Are there any schools in the PAC that use drones to film their games?
-
The use of drones is now at the forefront of football game filming technology. What high school football teams in the state of Indiana are currently using drones to film their games?
