Wash/Clay- Does Clay break their 37 game conference losing streak this Friday? Both teams put of 6 points on Hammond Central. Clay has 20 PF this season and Washington has 12. Could Clay pull it off?
St Joseph/New Prairie- Whether or not New Prairie plays 4 quarters or not. The cougars take this one. St. Joe's on limp mode this week. Hearing rumors a few players are banged up including 4 star.
Penn/Elkhart- I think this game is decided by 6 points. I'll take Penn's D on this one.
Marian/Adams- Marian had problems containing Bremen's #9 on their deep passes. Adam's has a few more weapons and a mobile QB. Can Marian contain the speed this week. Adam's by 7
Knox/Glenn- Glenn knocked off Knox with a couple of long QB runs. Can the Glenn Offense control the game and field position? Defense will play solid but can Radke find the kink on the line and expose it with his linemen trades? Glenn's Defense 17-14
JImtown/Bremen- Bremen looked lost guarding grass defensively against Triton when they overloaded. Can they tighten up to stop the ground and pound game of Jimtown? Jimtown's aggressive defense over Bremen's I formation twins and Wild cat offense. Jimtown 28-7
Riley/IndyWash- The wild cats need to play 4 quarters of polished football to give them some momentum moving into the last half of the season. A major turn around year for the Wildcats and their new staff, as they have scored on the first possession of each game and have lead at halftime in all 4 games. Both losses the wildcats gave up the lead in the 4th quarter. Can they put it all together this week? Riley 48 Indy Wash 6

Triton has a solid team for sure.  But saying they should go far in the tournament overlooks the fact that Pioneer and North Judson are in their sectional.  We'll see in the next three weeks how those three teams line up, but I'm not making Triton the Sectional 41 favorite by any stretch.  I would say that NJSP is the team to beat while not counting out perennial powerhouse Pioneer.

I would. I think they are the 2nd best team Bremen will face this year. I’m including Marian, Jimtown, and Glenn in that. I see them going to Semi-State and giving AC all they can handle in  the cold November weather. Don’t know if they pull it out, but it will be a slugfest.

Very proud of the guys last night!  They proved that they have the mentality to win!  I was definitely thinking “here we go again “ early in the first, but the defense stepped up and they played great on both sides of the ball. How that Bremen team beat Marian I will never understand. But hats off to the Trojans!  They played a great game!

That Marian team is not very good. The worst probably in decades. Seeing the way Bremen had played and the style of back Schuh was, I knew he was going to eat them alive.

I was one who thought after watching Laville vs them both that Triton had the better team by least 2 scores. Just depended if Triton showed up which looks definitely like they did

I have nothing positive to say other than Triton is a good team and look forward to them making a deep run.

I am intrigued by Knox v. North Judson-San Pierre and Triton v. Bremen.

Redskins and Jays putting up some offensive numbers. Question is will the defense step up?

Trojans are capable of putting it together. I think it will take 4 solid  quarters to beat Bremen.

And the Lions just showed what they can do against Marian.

A quick start by Bremen could affect Triton's mental game.

as always, the game is better

Bremen pulled out every trick in the book and got a lot of things to go their way against Marian. This Triton team is more physical and that that running attack will batter and bruise the lions. The game won’t be close, but Bremen will put a couple scores late to make it look respectable.

Time for Week Four of the regular season!

Caston at Pioneer  Pioneer licks its wounds and rebounds big.

Knox at North Judson-San Pierre Knox wins this rivalry in the 4th.

LaVille at Winamac Laville may put up 60.

Triton at Bremen Trojans punch the Lions in the mouth with the running game. 35-13

West Central at Culver Cavs get one here.

    Who you got this week?

  7. Bremen needs revamping of the athletic department. It is becoming pretty stale. Need some new blood in that place.  Athletic leadership is just going through the motions, it is disappointing to see the lack of commitment for the leadership. Other places are investing into their kids, while Bremen seems stuck in place and happy with the status quo. If you speak up about it, you are labled a troublemaker and you will be ignored. They are content with the path of least resistance, and the lack of ambition is coming home to roost in a lot of areas.
