  1. Prompted by Kentucky's new transfer Coach who made Minchey a priority. Does the Coach Transfer Portal have a date limitation like the Player Portal?
  2. .
  3. Correct thing according to what, The Bully Handbook? That kid didn't have a ride to get to off season workouts, he had to ride the bus to school and he was bullied by the other students for being poor. Now he's being bullied by a coach. That kid had to work a full time job in the off season to both pay for the football fees and to help his family out. Now he's being excluded from the team for missing non-mandatory workouts. This is a bad attitude for a coach to have, hopefully it's never been implemented.
  4. 2024-he's no longer coaching. He's not even sure who the coach at North Newton is.
  5. I wouldn't be so sure about that. Pike finished 5-5 after a meat grinder schedule. The far north teams still need to prove they can beat Indy area teams consistently.
  6. You have no idea at what the situation is at your school? That seems odd.
  7. I believe he retired in December. Does North Newton have a coach on faculty staff or is he a lay coach? Did you have a bad experience with a lay coach that contributed to your stance opposing them?
  8. Your explanation that a coach was a teacher in the district? I understood that and did not ask for clarification. It ended up with 3 State Championships for the school and numerous victories and accomplishments for the football team and their Hall of Fame Coach. Otherwise, Sheridan may have ended up with a teacher just looking for some extra pay as a football coach.
  9. I think my comment is pretty self-explanatory, but if you need further explanation......... Sheridan may not have had 4 State Championship appearances, 3 State Championships and 7 Semi-State appearances with a different head coach who "was in the building" during that 20 years.
  10. Bud Wright was a lay coach for the last 20 years. Not a teacher or Admin.
  11. That's a strange rule. I'm glad it's not a State law.
  12. Thanks for letting us know that you have absolutely no idea how public school systems are funded.
  13. Forgive him, he moved in from out of state to get his boy a ring.
  14. I doubt it. They can't get past semistate in there best year. This ain't gonna be one.
  15. I would guess several.
