@crimsonace1thought it was a shame that NP/Roncalli played before LOS.. seems to be the only shame was EC/Roncalli playing each other before LOS. The 2 best teams in 4A hands downs.

I wouldn't be totally shocked if Floyd won the game tonight. I would be a little surprised but wouldn't be like "NO WAY". Streaks don't last forever and can end at any point with this team.

CE this year is much much better than last year. CE has played one bad half of football this year and that was against Columbus North in the 2nd half. East against Whiteland (arguably the best team in 5A) led at half 10-6. Entering the 4th quarter, it was 14-10 Whiteland. As for the North game, East was down 10-6 at the half, before absolutely falling apart for one of the worst halves of football I had seen in a long time. They are def improving each week, and that's all you can ask for. East lost 32 seniors the year Gaddis retired, so last year was a fresh start for Coach Vogel.

Columbus East - 28 New Albany - 7 Early 3rd quarter. East offense looked much better to start the 3rd, ran a more up-tempo offense. Javion Smith with a lot of the big yardage plays. East defense gets a 3 and out. A much better start for Columbus East on both ends. Gault gave Jennings a big hit.

New Albany has constantly shot themselves in the foot. East has looked absolutely awful this game. Elijah Jennings is pummeling the East defense. If East was playing any team that was even decent, they would be getting beat. This New Albany team barely beat Jennings County. They are bad this year.

Yeah, I realized that. They have a good group of youngsters for next year. Alot of underclassmen getting some playing time this year will help too.
