New Albany will graduate a ton this year.. CE and Seymour will probably be your two best teams in the HHC with Floyd in the mix. East vastly improved as the year went on and returns a ton of kids that played this year. As for next year, We will have to wait and see how the sectionals line up, because I believe New Pal goes back to 4A. East could win a sectional next year depending on what the sectionals look like. Cathedral has already been to 6A once, and were brought back down to 5A after their 2 years in it… Again, it will depend on what sectional they get put into.

I agree, I put them up their with Columbus East.. with East and Cathedral being the only 2 schools to bump up 2 classes due to the success factor. Memorial has been right up there with them.

Rough year for us this year, but the boys got better as the season went on.. Look forward to next season with a ton of starters returning. Columbus East has been very fortunate to have kids buy into the program. A ton of good programs south of Indianapolis.

I promise they will be okay.. it’s a cold world.. I was more referring to the fan base, ex : Cody Parkhurst and a few other tools in that area.

I think Zionsville actually moved the ball really well last year… I do think a lot of people were surprised with how Zionsville played.

Fair assessment, I have CG by 21… While Westfield is improved and maybe better than last year, so is CG…

My pick is Cathedral by 13… but it could be a blowout for all I know.

Cathedral by a few TD’s… Zionsville a very solid program, but Cathedral is a different animal this year.

I believe so.. 40-45 players is about it for them. New Pal, while a growing community, is a small school. That’s why I’m always so amazed by the success, the strength and condition program that Kyle Ralph and his crew has going on there is top notch.

I would say both teams will have to bring their A game. If one team doesn’t they will lose. 2 really good football teams in this game.

East will be back on top next year in the conference. Not sure it will ever be a stronghold like they did for 17 years, but New Albany will drop with a ton of graduation and East will make a pretty good job. Seymour will be good again as well.

Every year Floyd and Bloomington South have the most injuries of any teams, is South also getting scammed by the strength and conditioning coach? Sounds like maybe something is wrong in that weight program over there if this is a reoccurring theme like MD makes it out to be.

Cathedral by 28-35….at the half. If this game was played during the regular season, only Hammond Morton would be a worse team than what NA would be on Cathedrals schedule. It’s awesome to see NA win its first ever regional title, but this game is going to be a beatdown. The Irish just need to stay healthy and avoid any major injuries.

As am I because NA (while winning the HHC) didn’t do it by blowing teams out. The HHC was awful this year. The Irish main plan next week is get healthy for the 5A Title game.
