LaPorte has been playing football for over 100 years. Dave Sharpe was there for 4 of them. His Power T offense produced 3 of the top 5 offenses in school history. The other 2 were the 2014 state runner up team and the 2006 regional championship team. In his last 3 years at Noblesville his offenses averaged 350 yards per game and 25 points per game (via MaxPreps). So can we quit "blaming" it on the offense? There's a lot more to winning football games!

I'm not saying the old numbers would benefit anyone. I'm saying the new ones would. And it sounds like your school would be one of those.

Previous enrollment classifications as stated above? This pandemic has the enrollment numbers all out of whack. Without trying to create too much controversy here, I believe that are a good number of schools that would "benefit" from using the current figures. It just doesn't seem right to me...

The bigger question is what figures are they going to use? Obviously this pandemic has the numbers skewed quite a bit. I certainly don't envy the IHSAA with trying to figure this one out!

The Duneland Athletic Conference uses a pool. We submit wide and ODK.

I was never offered the position. I was asked to be on the interview committee and I declined. My exact quote was "You guys did a pretty good job last time around. Find us another Dave Sharpe!"

I'd say the best thing to do would be to select "1" and then just put N/A in for the head coaches information. See if that works.

Any suggestions on a gameday stats program? We've been using the same one (with updates of course) since the early 2000s. There's got to be a better way! 😠
