  1. I see you have reading comprehension issues. When did you becomes the posting police? Setting standards for who is allowed to post on a topic? Why is there a need to offer insight or predictions in order to post a comment? Using rankings….funny They are so accurate…especially before a game had been played. I did not say anyone who was surprised by the result is a clown. I referred to YOU only as a clown for these continued idiotic responses.
  2. You and your stupid receipts…as if posts on here making predictions were a standard, or absolute. I live in Allen County….I do not make predictions. I was not surprised by the outcome….how’s that for a receipt? 🤡
  3. NO One? Complete BS. A guy stops by a thread after game 1? Especially a game he that involves his alma mater and another team he is familiar with? Ohhhhh my god. It’s shocking. 🙄
  4. You try WAY too hard to be antagonistic sometimes.........the outcome was NOT a surprise. A veteran squad from a team that was a play away from reaching the State finals beating a program that has struggled in recent years, and now has a young QB and WR's.....not a surprise.
  5. Penalties hurt WC. They started off great, and throughout the game ran the ball very well. Snider was able to run the ball well too. They have a young team, including the QB. Hopefully they get better as the season progresses. The outcome really is not that surprising.
  6. Do you have a link? I see a bunch of the fake ones on the list.
  7. Just in time for IU's football season
  8. https://www.indystar.com/story/sports/nfl/colts/2023/05/05/colts-why-og-emil-ekiyor-jr-went-from-projected-4th-rounder-to-udfa/70186908007/ Knee injuries for o linemen, especially ones that require arthroscopic surgery scare teams away. It also appears his performance at the combine was not enough to convince a team that the knee was not an issue. I hope he does well with the Colts.
  9. Not exactly football related, but well worth posting. And the replies are great too.
  10. Give Oregon (Nike U) a couple years to start dominating.......They have money to burn to buy the top athletes. I am not sure anyone even in the SEC can keep up.
  11. Similar to pro sports….you let these gambling sites advertise and sponsor your league or games, trouble follows. We even get live in game odds as part of the pre game show and intermission in every game we see now. And now that this is happening, it becomes that much more difficult to reign in. https://brobible.com/sports/article/iowa-kicker-aaron-blom-accused-of-betting-on-hawkeyes-games-using-his-moms-account/
  12. A couple things....I think the conference needs to just do away with the conference championship game. It could impact seeding in the expanded playoff. While I don't think it is likely, a loss in that game could knock a team out of the playoff. The potential exists for teams meeting each other 2 or even 3 times.
  13. A glimpse at the future scheduling in B1G football. https://bigten.org/news/2023/6/8/big-ten-conference-announces-exciting-future-football-schedule-formats-for-2024-and-2025.aspx
  14. 8 tracks huh??? 😄 This one was a "throw in" to meet the limit on my Columbia House order.
  15. Now that camps are open..... I love seeing stuff like this. I see things like this often with Allen. Class act
  16. This is such a cool tradition.
  17. On the top line, tap “Store”. You will see a drop down menu. Tap Donations.
  18. Terms used are im[portant per the IHSAA Bylaws. To clarify, the 12 practice limit is for use of helmets and shoulder pads, known as competition days, (As you said, 5 of those involving teams competing against each other)Every sport has a limit on the number of competition days they can have. Football is unique because of the helmets and shoulder pads and the contact. That said, football CAN have additional days to work as long as they are not in helmets and shoulder pads.
  19. Several things have come to mind with this. Coaches are in a tough spot. They have less than one week with the players, so building relationships with some is difficult; especially if players are from a rival program. While it may have worked for some time, I have long thought it may not be the best idea to house the teams on the same campus where there paths cross often through each day. Not sure what the practice set up is like. Do the teams practice at the same time? Are they doing one on one stuff with opposing players? Add to all of this, it was hot all week. Sure it has been hot in the past, but tempers are shorter in the heat. Maybe someone could approach Marian U and ask to house one team there while the other is at UIndy. It is unfortunate these things took place, but I also think this shows that there are limits to what can be done by coaches and officials.
