  1. I get that part. But overall, it's a "convenient" excuse for backing out. None of this was part of the conversation a year ago when SC knew the current contract was up. And we know they were aware of the MOU then.
  2. The hangup with using the MOU as an excuse is USC knew about this in 2024. Every P4 Conference Commissioner agreed to it. If it was an issue, why not use it to get out of this year's game? I have stated before, before USC to the B1G was a thing, Riley had told the broadcast team during a meeting with them during the week of the game that this was a game he was interested in dropping.
  3. Just sayin 🙂
  4. I guess I was thinking regular season excluding the conference championship. Depending on who the one loss would have been to, they don't play in the conference championship game. I would agree that if they had 1 loss and made the championship game and lost, they would likely be in.
  5. Seems like a tough spot to be in. Bring in another 1 year QB? Imagine being in Alberto Mendoza's spot. Would he enter the portal? I am sure he would be given a fair shot to compete for the starting spot, just seems like this is where NIL money could become more of a factor. The NIL group spends $2 Million on Hoover, it seems like the expectation would be for him to start.
  6. I have doubted LaFleur for a long time now, not just as a head coach, but a play caller as well. To be fair though, the WR/TE room was already loaded when Golden was drafted.
  7. I don't think they would be in the playoff with 2 losses.
  8. A 4 loss season with no championship would be more of a problem than just losing to the number 1 team. I will go out on a limb and say every Alabama fan expects them to beat Indiana. I am not sure any of them even respect Indiana or even the B1G as a whole.
  9. I get that Goodell wants parody in the league. He certainly does have that now when you look at the number of playoff teams from recent seasons that have been eliminated. My contention has been that the quality of the game has been suffering. Proof: I would add that the teams we follow, if we have tunnel vision, are just not good teams. There might be two teams that have been somewhat consistent most of the season in Buffalo and Denver. But even they have had moments of looking bad.
  10. Have not confirmed, but interesting if true.
  11. Thank you Vikings
  12. He brings up a point I had forgotten. Riley mentioned he wanted to end the series a couple years ago. Good take from Keyshawn on this. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/usc-keyshawn-johnson-lincoln-riley-trojans-notre-dame-rivalry/
  13. Proving your point, while not deleting or hiding the comment? Yeah, that makes sense. I am not warning you again. Another idiotic accusation and you will be taking a vacation from here.
  14. "I got a lot of problems with you people, and now, you're gonna hear about em." Classic
  15. Your accusations are pathetic.....move on. Not a suggestion this time
  16. He is not treated any different than what anyone else is on here. I know you won't agree with that, but I really do not care. There is plenty that goes on that you don't see as far as posts being deleted. Plenty of things have been let go as well from a number of posters here. No one owes you or anyone else an explanation any further than this. The only suggestion I will make, is be careful with lame and false accusations.
  17. I said it two years ago when the door opened.....unsustainable.
  18. If you have not been following this page recently, you need to. The trolling is genius level stuff.
