  1. It was cool too to hear so much of the crowd at the end join in with Beat Army. I was not there, but you could clearly hear it on TV.
  2. Don has been through soooo many bad games, it’s great to hear him call this one.
  3. I was so caught up in the play itself and really did not hear this. But what a moment made for THE Gus Johnson. So often, I think he tries to hard to make a good play into something more. But not THIS one. Omar Cooper's draft stock climbs high with this game. https://x.com/CFBONFOX/status/1987256102262874620?s=20
  4. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
  5. Horribly sad news RIP Stories are saying he took his own life.
  6. Yep.....it's a running gag that @Yuccaguy and I have going, dating back to the 2018 season. 🤣
  7. YEP.....easy to spot 5 guys OFF the LOS. 😆
  8. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr do this for an alternate. I think this design is like kryptonite for Ryan Day. 😆
  9. But keep in mind, the highest ranked ACC team is Virginia at 14. The ACC champ has a guaranteed spot in the field. So that team will be bumping someone out.
  10. She never disappoints "You two use more screens that Tyreek Hill trying to facetime all of his kids." 🤣
  11. The highest ranked ACC team is UVA at 14. the ACC Champ has an automatic bid. Memphis is the group of 5 team. So that knocks out 2 teams. The Irish are the 1st team out. I am not sure that an additional loss by any of the 4 SEC teams moves them out of the top 10. One possibility for the Irish is if BYU loses; that would move ND up far enough in the poll to avoid being bumped out.
  12. 1st rankings are out. I have felt that the Irish need help, and I think they really do now. https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/college-football-playoff-rankings-ohio-state-opens-at-no-1-over-indiana-as-big-ten-sec-dominate-top-five/
  13. Classic Kind of reminds me of seeing Ken Leffler coaching Scecina games with a pipe in his mouth. 😆
  14. Pretty cool shoutout from Derrick Henry
  15. Orlovsky mentioned this earlier in the season. Immature is spot on with what this team is doing. And it includes the head coach and DC, the guys calling the plays.
  16. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FhJ96toUM/ Bob Trumpy, a Pro Bowl tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals and a pioneering voice in sports broadcasting, passed away peacefully at the age of 80. His death marks the loss of a man whose impact on football extended far beyond the playing field. Born March 6, 1945, in Springfield, Illinois, Trumpy’s athletic journey began as a standout at the University of Utah, where he played both football and basketball. Drafted by the Bengals in 1968, he quickly became one of quarterback Greg Cook’s favorite targets and earned Pro Bowl honors in 1968 and 1970. Over his 10-year NFL career, Trumpy amassed more than 4,600 receiving yards and 35 touchdowns, helping define the tight end position during the league’s formative years. Trumpy’s legacy grew even stronger after his retirement, when he transitioned into broadcasting—a field he helped shape with his sharp analysis and commanding voice. He spent decades as a color commentator for NBC Sports, covering Super Bowls, Olympic Games, and countless NFL matchups. His work earned him the prestigious Pete Rozelle Radio-Television Award from the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014, recognizing his excellence in sports broadcasting. Known for his wit, candor, and deep understanding of the game, Trumpy was a mentor to younger broadcasters and a trusted voice for generations of fans. Whether calling a dramatic playoff game or offering insight into locker room dynamics, he brought clarity and passion to every broadcast. Condolences to his family and friends and may he Rest in Peace. Sourced using Wikipedia and MSN and an announcement made by the Bengals football page. Special thanks to follower Dottie Ann for her notification of Trumpy's passing, it is appreciated.
  17. Penalties 1 out of 5 possessions in the red zone Predictable on offense? And ugly uniforms. Just a poor effort all around.
  18. Time of possession: Maryland 19:38 IU: 40:22
  19. Game winning PAT for Northrop over Snider last night. The game tying TD on 4th down
  20. I agree completely. It’s a common theme this weekend in Louisiana and the sports world in general. Politicians need to stay out of things like this. I believe micromanaging is the term.
  21. Not sure exactly how other states operate, but it seems that IU has itself on this path now. With support from President Whitten, total oversight has been given to the Governor as of this last session at the Statehouse. Prior to that, the Governor was limited to just appointing a handful of people as Trsutees. Now he gets to appoint all of them, which means he also has more of a say in the day to day operations of the school. Kind of sounds like Louisiana has the same type of thing with LSU.
  22. His first year, 2022, they finished the regular season 9-3 (6-2 in the conference). They lost to Georgia in the SEC title game 50-30. Blew Purdue out 63-7 in the Citrus Bowl.
  23. I am picking a dark horse for LSU......Jon Sumrall. Doing a great job with Tulane, and did well at Troy. Not a huge risk at this point for LSU considering the current state of the program.
  24. Wow, you fellas have been busy here today. 3 unread pages for me on this topic. Good times. 😆
