Counting and making results official takes time in each state.. It takes so long in fact there is a federal law that gives States more than a month to count and certify their results. There is a reason why the college electoral doesn't meet until mid december to officially vote.

Im not shocked you dont know this but Fox News, Oann and Newsmax doesn't tell you this...so that explains it.

    im kinda shocked @Muda69doesn't though.

I've been thoroughly amazed by Social Studies teachers this year.  Misunderstanding so much.  Mixing liberal and conservative economics up so much.  The ones I've read...many times don't know the history of things.

  3. I went to grade school and high school with Fred, but only see him when he's refereeing IHSAA basketball games that I see anymore.  Yes, he went to Catholic grade school.

When I lived in the area, I'd often catch WEBO games.  Good football over that way.

Whatever happens, I hope that the decent Luers team shows up and they don't drop opportunities.

Im disappointed to read your response.  I know you to be a level headed individual and a passionate supporter of your school.  But to think that the idea of sending your 70 dressed Rebels with their extensive coaching, training and support level against 14 inner city kids and all the challenges they face is somehow OK is discouraging.

Nothing could be more out of balance than this particular example.

Perhaps we need IHSAA mandadted roster minumums for the tournament to avoid such a gravesty.

Im sure RHS could have put 100 on the board had they wanted to.

Yeah it was. Just how I saw it. I guess going 1 for 4 isn't too impressive, though lol.

Only one Fort Wayne team left. Wow.

Well, it happens.  Dwenger decided to turnover the game away.  Concordia played fairly well against one of the best teams in the state.  Homestead is Homestead and does this occasionally.  If I was that other guy southend, I’d wonder why Harding and New Haven together are playing so poorly.  Did they pick the wrong coach?   Lots of politics there.

You have some great ideas for spending other people's money.

Perhaps you can chime in on their curriculum as well?  Why didn't they just let the players out of school Friday so they could travel up and play that night? School isn't THAT important and they probably weren't learning anything anyway.

There are a myriad of ways to make up the lost seat time and money.

That was one option.  Are you offering to write the check for hotel & meal expenses?

No, but I'm sure there is some wealthy person that might be able to help out.  The church is quite wealthy, but as a member I understand that it is distributed unwisely. That's another story.  I was there and thought that MD was the better team, but the timing was just a bit off.

None are FWCS so they likely all are hosting fans.

I read this on the Luers site:

Friday, November 6, the Bishop Luers Knights take on the Eastside Blazers at Luers Field!

Tickets will be available for purchase for our Football and Cheer families in the Front Office on Wednesday 1:00PM-4:30PM, Thursday 7:15AM-4:30PM, and Friday 7:15 AM- 12:30PM. Tickets are $6.00 each, and will not be sold at the gates Friday night. Tickets can be picked up by student athletes or parents!

I wouldn't rush over to wait in line.

That's a heck of an observation there "Sherlock"

Kinda takes us back to the original tenor of MY point.. Some schools travel better than others.

No disrespect to Luers. But they honestly fall in the lower portion of SAC schools whose fans 'travel.

Whereas: Homestead; Carroll; Dwenger and Snider (Concordia not withstanding) seem always bring a dedicated number of fans on the road.

And they don't play well in that part of Dekalb County.
