Cougars. For my money Adam is probably the best coach in the conference. They'll be ready, but sometimes it just comes down to Jimmy's and Joe's, and the Cougs have a few more.

Could be a running clock in second half. I'm a little biased, but the Cougars have way to much offensive firepower. Frontier might get a couple, but they won't have an answer defensively.

Winamac and West Central play for the Tomahawk in football / basketball.

I don't get a vote, but I'd welcome the Bombers into the HNAC. They have a historic rivalry with the Jays, and all the coaches I know over there are good people. Their kids play hard and we've never had an issue, even being on the bad end of a couple of blowouts. I think it would be a good fit, but again, I don't get a vote lol.

I wouldn't sleep on the Cougars. They lost a lot, but they have helmets and everything this year 😄. They will be a TOUGH out in 1A.

I think Judson is the team to beat if they find a decent replacement at QB.

When we were at Knox, we were playing a team that got into a fight with each other. 2 players were ejected, it was something I'll never forget. I've never seen anything like it.

it's not the number of kids in quarantine. It's the fact we didn't get to practice for 10 days. Don't talk about things when you don't know all the facts!!

An Indiana high school football coach checks in, concerned. (I am withholding his name at his request.) “I found your tour of the Vikings facility both informative and eye opening. It really scares me to think about what we’re doing at the high school level. To see what teams like the Vikings are doing to protect their players is impressive. High schools, with no money, and not near the space, are not getting the same treatment. In your article you talk about a meeting room with 172 seats and only 42 will fill those seats at a time. In high school football, we have anywhere from 35 to 75 kids on a team, jammed into classrooms, makeshift meeting rooms, etc to watch film and meet. It makes no sense to me at all. The NFL has the money to test almost daily. We don’t, at least the schools I know about, have the ability to test at all. We ask a series of questions and if the player answers ‘yes’ to any of the questions, the player is sent home. The kids who LOVE football understand this and will always answer ‘no’ to avoid missing practice time. I’m really concerned. “I know I’m in the minority when it comes to high school coaches. Most want to play, but the risk doesn’t equal the reward. I saw this and thought it was interesting, especially considering all the debate on here about this topic.
