  8. That would be great! I have heard we have reached out to several schools but no luck so far.
  9. Tipton vs Franklin County. Need to make it happen. Would probably need to be on Saturday.
  10. That would have been great! I see a few teams still need a game so I am hopeful we will find one.
  11. With Madison-Grant canceling at the last minute, Tipton is looking for a game for tomorrow or Saturday night. If interested please contact AD Kory Fernung or Head Coach Aaron Tolle.
  12. Well Madison-Grant just now canceled for tomorrow night. Unbelievable! Tipton is looking for a game for tomorrow or Saturday night.

  14. From everything I’ve heard so far, temperature checks will be a daily thing. Only if kids have a fever will they be made to get tested. As we’ve seen with all the college athletes that have tested positive, very few if any have any symptoms at all. The chances a Hs kid even has a fever and has to get checked are pretty slim. I think we all agree at some point a Hs kid will test positive but I don’t think it’s going to get crazy where the season will need to be shutdown. I do worry about the high risk group but they’ll need to try their best to stay away until we have a vaccine.
  15. Let’s not forget it was 7-7 at half and 14-7 after 3. Blocked punt and meaningless pick 6 in the 4th is what made the score what it was. It was a good ball game. Tipton was also playing without their QB and had to move their best WR to QB. Tipton was one dimensional in that game. They now return their whole team and if QB Edwards stays healthy, should be a great year. I have a ton of respect for Eastbrook’s program and Coach Adamson. He is one of the best around. I know they lost a lot of really good players but still expect them to be a really good team again. Should be a fun Sectional.
  16. Based on what both teams have coming back I would put Tipton slightly ahead. Both teams should have great years.
  17. 2 studs, great system and well coached. I may have them too high(didn’t realize that’s all they return) but I would guess they will be 12-0 heading into the Regional against Andrean/Rensselaer.
  18. 1. Andrean 2. Pioneer 3. Mater Dei 4. Luers 5. Rensselaer 6. Tipton 7. Eastbrook 8. Linton 9. Triton Central 10. Scecina
  19. He will be a sophomore and I’m told he will be their QB. The genes definitely didn’t skip him. Not sure he is the thrower Engle was but he will give them another option in the run game.
  20. East: 1A Western- Western on paper is the favorite after finishing 2nd a year ago. They return most of their huge OL as well as their stud RB Padgett. However their QB transferred to Eastbrook so they must replace him. Still should be a really good team this fall. 1B Tipton- Tipton needs to replace a couple OL but return everyone else lead by Jr All Staters WR/S Drew Pearce and RB/LB Jayvin Lyons. Key will be keeping QB Sam Edwards healthy. He was starting to play really well last year before going down with a season ending injury against Rensselaer. Defense should be very good. 3-5 This is a tossup. Cass was really good last year but lost pretty much their whole team. I was told they don’t have much coming up either. However they will be very well coached so I expect them to overachieve. Hamilton Heights has kind of been a mess the last few years. They’ve been much more talented than their record. They do lose a lot but return both of their talented QB’s. I’m not a fan of the 2 QB system so I feel they should stick with one. I think they’ll be at least a little improved. Northwestern- They’ve struggled the last few years but they had some nice young players that should be upperclassmen now. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them climb out of the cellar. Cardwell kid is a player.
  21. I agree with Punttheball. Western and Tipton should battle for the East title. Western returns a lot especially offensively. OL should be really strong lead by Erb and they’ll have their QB Engle as well as their other weapons Padgett, Liddell and Jarvis to name a few. They do lose some really good players on defense though but should be fine. Tipton will need to replace a couple kids on the OL but I expect to be stronger there next year. QB Sam Edwards returns as well as RB Jayvin Lyons as well as al the WR’s(Pearce, Powell, Edwards, Tolle and Gutierrez) and TE. Defense will need to replace a CB but pretty much everyone else is back. Should be one of the better LB corps we’ve ever had lead by Lyons and Servies. Obviously kids will need to put in the work in the offseason but next year could be a really special year. Heights loses a ton of skill kids but return both their talented QB’s. IMO they need to commit to one. I look for WR Tuma to be a breakout player for them. I think they’ll finish 3rd in the East. Cass will be rebuilding and NW continuing to rebuild. RB Cardwell will be a player to watch the next 3 years for the Tigers.
  22. Congrats to LCC! Big time drive by Barrett and company and gutsy call on the 2 point conversion. No clue what Lutheran’s coach was doing on their last drive. Lcc couldn’t stop the run and he decides to throw twice in a row. They run the ball and they’re state champions.
