So folks just going to ignore the fact that the IFCA put a proposal forward to IHSAA before pulling it because of obvious reasons. Folks acting like coaches/admins have not been working on this for last few years and probably still working on it today. IFCA got Mr. Cox's Mercy rule in place IFCA got Mr. Faulkens 40 sec clock in place and actually took a pilot program that got fast tracked to a NFHS standard only after 3 years. How bout this scenario WL on the road to HH, and they win Guerin Catholic beats Yorktown: WL would then travel to Guerin for round 2 Chatard on road, beats Brebeuf North Mont on the road beats Crawfordsville Chatard would then travel to North Mont for round 2 WL beats Guerin and Chatard beats North Mont...... Both WL and Chatard have equal number of games played on the ROAD, bottom team owns tiebreaker, and there you have it folks, the more unique anomaly, where a team can play and win a sectional title without playing 1 home game. If that scenario plays out and WL pulls that off, then I say give them the ring and don't worry about playing the rest of the string out. Of course that is just 1 scenarios and one that may not even come to fruition.

I do find it amusing, even though we have had a few rebuilds over the years the pitch forks come a calling this week But when you look at the draw, I mean, statistically speaking, the Avon/Brownsburg game is not a surprise as only 4 teams vs 8 teams Then to have only 2 other matchups that creates outrage is pretty darn impressive Don't forget to become a booster today!!!

Fans have zero input on this Coaches and Admins were polled a few years ago overwhelmingly came back keep all in Overwhelmingly came back seeding top 2 Coaches helped adapt the current Mercy rule as Mr. Cox stated, no mercy rule no seeding. Maybe seeding comes down the pike sooner rather than later, HOWEVER, all in is GOING NO WHERE folks.

I don't know what Frankton does for an offense, but by time Tipton gets to round 2 Eastbrook they will have seen a steady diet of RUN RUN RUN RUN going back to Western week 8, RCHS week 9, then more than likely Eastbrook week 11. Defensive backs are not happy

Benton Central gets a home game vs River Forest Twin Lakes gets a home game vs Hanover Central Northwestern gets 1 win Heritage on the road RCHS goes on the road to old pals Wheeler from back in the day, 2014 was the last year we have played them RDP gets to avoid 3 Catholic schools off jump street, but they COULD be on the road all 3 games, stinks there will be Hoosier on Hoosier crime there Western has to win 1 game and they play for a Sectional Title in a 6 man sectional. Odd how that came about. Why not have 2 teams with byes play round 2 winners of round 1 instead of 2 teams getting bye?? Either way, Lebanon losses have come by quality opponents, looks to be a very competitive matchup for Western. LCC gets to go hand with @Muda69 bulldogs of CLC Tipton gets what looks to be a nice opener vs Frankton before showdown with Eastbrook which would be AT EASTBROOK, YIKES, that place is tough to play at, but amazing turf field for Tipton's athletes

and I would counter that one of the better crews was Butch Jones ( I know retired now) from Cass County himself. Plenty of good Lafayette / Kokomo area crews to work that one per se. Same in Indy with Chatard/Brebeuf week 1 game Avon/Brownsburg is Semi Final round so half the crews are gone anyways

you don't think that IHSAA office would assign a Sectional final / Regional/ Semi State / State level crew to these big 1st round matchups? Cmon man...... only 4 "tragedies" this year. I understand why Fleck and Brohm will always be compared but truth is that Purdue has had a very bad streak of tough luck this year with some injuries. What will be really a bummer will be that Nevada game...... You look at games left, there is still a chance at 6-6- bowl game. Gonna be tough, but winnable games left on the schedule for the Football version of Baby Boilers.
