Rushing attempts record and 1st downs for sure for state 2a. Beating LCC that year not once but twice was quite the chore. After Week 8 game where we won 9-0, we spent 30-45 minutes a day at practice and hour on Saturdays running the LCC Week 14 script, completely revamped the offense for that next game and just worked on being able to maniupulate where Anthrop and Cronk was going to be at SS and LB and being able to minimize backside LB play of Yeagley. Jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the 1st quarter before settling in and winning 17-14. LCC scored very late TD and we had to snag a onside kick with like a minute or so left.

I swear if we draft more gadget return guys in late rounds next year I will lose my mind

We are bringing the entire Bomber Football program to Nebraska game the following week, field trip style. We were floored how many players in our middle and high school have never been to a college game, let alone a game 45 minutes from their homes. We are excited, one of our awesome parents is a JPC member and has a spot on Slater Hill. Going to tailgate before and after the games. Costs the kids $10 for the entire day!!!

As our friend BobRef could tell you, I was about 2.1 centimeters away from serious eye damage that night. On the sidelines, in my coaches box, the chains they were using broke in the wind, it came up and snapped me right below my eye with the metal eyelit of the "Stick" out of nowhere. BAM, I go down and throw off my headset and say naughty words. No Fun. I think I even made the report that our Crew Chief, @Bobref filed to IHSAA about a litany of issues that night. We also dressed in some room in the school, mind you Gary Wirt was still a school in Gary Corp at the time. There was a Halloween dance going on in the gym right by the locker room we were given. It was good pre game entertainment. I even so some wonderful costumes

I have been hearing this nonsense, I had someone text me that idea too my response was simple 1) What draft capital do you have to pull that deal 2) Why would you even want that guy on your team 3) You've made your bed, now lay in it. That is what you get PAID to do.

Coaches race 1st I got Pioneer, Coach Berry big time finisher on the 4th leg!!! There will be great athletes all of the field Friday Night, i would just leave it at that personally.

We have played their and of course at @Bobref favorite venue at old Gary Wirt as well. Bowman has played games there at Roosevelt. Stop by and take pictures of Michael Jackson house and memorial while you make the trip, its right behind the visitors stands. Great Great large stadium that at one point back in the hey day of Gary Sports was quite the place to take in a game. I believe Bowman is hosting Andrean at Gary West

Probation is nice way of saying, you got caught, do some side education and prove you were educated and next time something like this happens you are in deeper trouble. For Instance: Bowman Academy, had to sit out all IHSAA tournaments for 2 years. I find it interesting that NO PLAYER was excluded from any games either. Essentially this is nothing more than a slap on the wrist and some bad PR for a moment.

I believe before injuries mounted he was pretty good NFL Offensive Lineman. Last 4 years has taken a toll and I bet he retires this year, I think he was on the fence this past year on whether or not to come back.
