Team Sessions are just that, FIT UP or THUD UP and quick whistle: We also have to be wary of issues of Scout team vs 1st Team Defense, some days so real poor matchups for Scout, we try to get some Varsity OL to play Scout OL to give the best look possible. When we go team sessions we 100% are looking for perfect alignment, technique and auto adjustments, pad levels off snap and 11 hats to the ball every rep. No focus on getting the guy to the ground. I am big with our LBs making sure their hips are down and like you said, running feet and not taking shortcuts, its something you have to harp on from day 1 of summer. Our typical week: Monday, Film, lift, condition, light walk thru sometimes. Tuesday: Install, O and Def fundamentals in your groups, this is where we do most of our Wheel tackles, pursuit drills, 7 on 7, rally drills, DL work on their drills such as splitting doubles,, wrong arm, work against traps, et. al. Modified short Team sessions as well. Wed: ALL TEAM Sessions as we only have usually about 1 hour and 40 minutes to practice, we have to be off the field by 5:45 for "church night" We do not get out to the field and taped up and stretched until about 4 daily. Thursday: Full team script: Special teams to O and D, light walk thru, some sessions just on air for us offensively Friday: Game on Saturday: 7 a,m. Stretch, weight room, conditioning. .

I really believe they will snag this Hornsby kid too out of Texas. The NW verbal, 4 star WR absolutely looked at Fitz offense vs Brohm and how they develop and throw to WR and flat out made a business decision. If I was a DB, I would look at PU from the simple fact of who you would be competing against in practice daily to get to that level to earn a check on Sundays. I believe I read that Brohm's initial JC/Grad Portal OL and DL targets were all off the board else where, so maybe there will be another wave he has in mind. But yes, that and potential of a Grad Transfer QB is being talked about, but I rather get the kid in Texas. every national recruiting service last 2 years.

we ran the ball 63 times inside Lucas Oil Stadium in 2014 on our way to state title against a team that was supposed to out athlete us as well. Outsized us significantly as well. Hey, I like that style of offense !!!

I watched the entire De La Salle vs Clayton valley from 2017 on Hudl since I was sent it from Coach Murphy. That was 2 years ago, I hope that was still within the same time frame of relevancy for you.

You hit the nail on the head, weight room is the epicenter to any successful football program and that will not change. Center Grove looks to have an outstanding SOPH QB, glad he is ok running the wing t I believe most offensives are built for some sort of misdirection, deception, some focus more than others, but RPO is no different than misdirection of option/T / or Wing T football. You are getting eyes on somewhere else then where you are attacking. Football is the greatest game on the face of this Earth, one of the many reasons, you can have success doing things differently than others. Its a thing of beauty.

D1 kids come out of Center Grove What is the difference? Also, why do you keep calling it a "gimmick" offense? I will ask again, why has anyone else not been able to do it then? Win with Spread at Noblesville? Is the Wing t gimmick offense?

Glad you brought up CG who has been very successful 6a program in the MIC primarily running the classic Wing t Sure they have some Spread 2 min stuff they do, we all do, but the one that makes the bacon is the wing t and center grove has no problem selling that to their community all these years

Strong sure, big not necessarily Game of football is about leverage and pad levels. Size helps if you are running RPO/ZONE Schemes POWER T is scheme relies on great pullers, leverage, double teams and great action in the back field. That is why NAVY can go against some teams that are bigger than themselves and have success, pad level

I would agree with that sentiment as well. However, there are plenty of other opportunities to showcase talents other than Friday Night game film and stats.
