  1. Sounds like Purdue lost another DB from the verbal class, Stinson: Flipping to Duke, HOWEVER word around the internet is that their is a DB from Michigan, with b10 offer that is flipping to Purdue this week. Purdue hosted a JUCO Corner this past weekend, I believe they told him during the visit with the new news that he was not in their plans, so he released a top 5 without Purdue. Strong indication that Purdue gets JUCO MLB who was verbal to LA Tech. Big fella who supposedly is not too big for MLB. not a great offer list, but I think PU told him he can play MLB for them: https://n.rivals.com/content/prospects/2020/damarcus-mitchell-255247
  2. in my opinion, there is such a fine line between 8 wins and 10 wins, a couple bad breaks, calls, etc can dictate those things, so its hard to just have a flat line saying, if he gets only 8 wins then he he is not worth it or however else folks frame that narrative.
  3. It was well known that Karlaftis would be a Wolverine or Buckeye if that happened and many others were gone, including, Rondale who would of transferred.
  4. Version of Howard Stern that is currently been on the radio last 5/6 years is FAR from the version you are referring to in that post. Very mellowed out and really gotten very good with sprinkled in shenanigans along the way. I giggled too I remember very vividly a few months ago a frantic @Temptation emailing me and then reporting his own post because he screen shot something from his laptop and posted it. There was info on there that would 100% make your inquiry that 2 accounts 1 person patently false
  5. Kevin Wright has a tremendous resume, that could get him a job from NFL down to HS, whatever he would like to do.
  6. Legacy 4 star, Topp 100 player from nearby town from OSU takes off after not beating out Pete Werner. https://ohiostate.rivals.com/news/brendon-white-enters-transfer-portal
  7. He is absolutely good HS football QB Not saying otherwise Listen, I get it, every year we can have these conversations, no doubt every year GREAT KIDS get left off Top 50, All State, AP All State, Region All Star teams, All Star Games. Been at this 17 years as a coach, Been on these boards since its inception as well, so trust me I get it. Like I originally said, I was surprised Adams wasn't the choice and his name was not on the Mr. Football ballot. Absolutely that last part I bolded is very true.
  8. Yes The ballot this had all position player winners on it, including Warsaw's kicker 3 New Pal players on the ballot alone
  9. There will be a special presentation for the 5 timer @CoachDurham at a special place, only reserved for these special occasions
  10. And Adams did, his JR year as he led his team to 3a state championship by beating Evansville Memorial.
  11. So all WL had to do was beat, Guerin, then Chatard, both on the road, then FW Concordia then Mish Marian, then make it to 3a State and Beat Heritage Hills? If you are scoring at home, that would of been 4 straight Private schools on their way to Lucas. That would of made up the difference between the 2? All 3 were tremendous QBs and athletes. I know I am bias, however facing Kyle Adams 2 times in person and all the game film that I watched of him, the throws he made, the fact he got a legit big time scholarship to James Madison, a premier program in the FCS division was enough for me to see him on the Mr. Football ballot as QB position winner. If Kyle Adams was 6'1 he is not going James Madison........ Not a knock against Wright, very good HS QB himself.
  12. and this is the man behind the scenes in charge of Purdue Recruiting: He is as Real as it gets and puts it all out there, he is the straw that stirs the drink for the Boilers recruiting
  13. I think AP should be out soon. I believe last year Rondale was 1st consensus All American as a Freshman since Adrian Peterson
  14. Karlaftis and Bell named 1st team Freshman All American by Athletic
  15. I will say, Schiano gives them the BEST chance to make drastic improvements. Do not see them getting into the 8-10 win range however. 4-6 range, sure
  16. Head to IFCA.net Click Job Openings; Look at all the different requirements schools have put out there to apply, investigate the situation, follow the protocol established by the opening by each school, and put your hat in the ring and hopefully get a phone call to come talk about it. I would say for most schools, they are looking for former HC experience OR coordinators from successful schools not all the time, but most of the time.
  17. I doubt that its the HC flat out saying this to players, but in the instance of Purdue. If you are those 2 who entered the portal, you see Rondale, You See David Bell, Milton Wright, Amad Anderson are all Freshman or Sophomores, you are not getting reps, your position coach has you in a pecking order, you have 2 choices, stay and compete, however you see that Purdue is bringing in another 4 star WR Dog, another elite speed slot guy, another 6'2 WR Sullivan and you ask yourself, will I have get to play here or is there better opportunities for me to play. That is what is going on. Same with these elite schools, Bama, Clemson, OSU, etc. You see 4 and 5 star guys leaving all the time because they are not getting reps, and the next batch of OMG 5 star dudes are coming and so they feel they need to get a new situation to get on the field and get that tape to for their ultimate goal, Sundays.
  18. Penn St flew in today to check out Elkhart players
