  1. There are 3 programs and then everyone else, doesn't matter if you expand to 12 teams, its Georgia, Bama, OSU..............then next tier, the gap from top tier to next is unbelievably large
  2. Define big?? according the link below he is 27k, my guess with him and Sullivan, about moving on with their degrees from Purdue and looking for more exposure for the 2024 NFL draft. not sure if this link is behind paywall or not https://www.on3.com/db/lawrence-johnson-142303/nil/ ranked 4,379 in total NIL so........
  3. I'd pump the brakes on Bryce Young and future NFL success, but that is just me and my concern for 6'0 quarterbacks
  4. PERFECT SEASON Well Done FLUS
  5. Lawerence Johnson going to Auburn 2 DL landing upward
  6. Jack Sullivan Boilermaker to Trojan, that is USC Trojan he played so well this year
  7. no doubt, just a tough situation all the way around in the current landscape, you just pick the pieces up and get back at it with new crew and get to work
  8. Im a Brian Nuebert guy and Goldandblack.com. they moved from rivals to on3 in November I think, he can sign up for only $1 for a year, get more true idiots at that price point vs the $100 they were on Rivals, but Nuebert has been on the Purdue beat for so long, he doesn't pull any punches. he does a live thread chat and didn't pull some punches about their publications relationship with Brohm, Corp, basically Greg who was Jeff's attack dog, he also said Brian was 100% on the outside of Jeff's shadow and always did his own thing it seems.
  9. I think they see 4 star out of HS going to UT and moving on not because of lack of skills, but more so UT recruited 2 bona fide (more than likely) 1st round draft picks behind him. I think that is where the excitement comes from. Also, a few days now post Bowl game, some of the stories coming out of West LA on Brohm Corp are now becoming more out there, things I had heard already but now being spoken on by local media. Interesting to say the least. Not going to bad mouth Jeff Brohm, but seems like many folks were ready for the new era to begin
  10. I would imagine that dude from Jackson St WR who follow PRIME to Colorado would of been top ranked https://www.on3.com/db/kiyaunta-goodwin-75413/ This just came across my timeline if you will: would love to see Purdue give him a shot
  11. I never saw full "rankings". however I did see bunch of headlines of being top position type available early in the process Would imagine he was somewhere in the top 10 for QBs and Top 40 available or so
  12. I would gladly welcome him back Don't remember saying anything such as take b10 by storm, but he was productive at Texas and would think he would be productive at Purdue. Ask yourself why he no longer earned the starting job at Texas. https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4429032/hudson-card Productive stats in the 3.5 games he played after 5 star #1 recruit in nation https://247sports.com/PlayerSport/Quinn-Ewers-at-Southlake-Carroll-191207/RecruitRankHistory/ got hurt vs Alabama. And Arch Manning coming once Ewers is done. Made all the sense in the world for him to transfer and Purdue was fortunate to get him as no matter what they were getting a portal qb even if Brohm stayed. He will have 2 years of eligibility left.
  13. Purdue has to have the youngest P5 staff in America, already got one of the top QB from the Portal and will continue to go shopping in the next weeks. Going into all of this with eyes wide open and fair chance to see what they can create under this new leadership. Tough Schedule for sure in 2023
  14. not at all half the staff gone, the other half was one foot in one foot out Why do you think so many guys got hurt? The last month was a mess and that was the end result, if they played in a NON JAN bowl, things may have not been so messy, but that was the cards they had to play, appreciate some of the guys who entered the portal and played but they were out gunned, out classed, from the moment Jeff Brohm left. NOW, as I have seen many players tweeted and discussed, onto to Fresno State and The Coach Walters era
  15. I was one of those guys doing a victory lap, bummed he is transferring, but not naive to know that it was more than likely going to happen when you have a freebie to use anyways. I think Allen committed to Brohm early, so him leaving after athletes spend all that time in recruiting building relationships and while on campus as well. So it goes.
  16. also, Sounds like B10 Commish Warren is heavy favorite to take over as President of Bears
  17. https://www.dabearsblog.com
  18. Houston would just take best QB on their board at 2, only Ryan Pace would bid against himself to trade up 1 spot when there will be multiple options to choose from at the current draft spot
  19. Don't expect anyone from land of Titans be happy about it, unless she lands closer to home per se, I get all of that. Wish him the best
  20. look at the Bombers back down at 468 from 526 that got us stuck in 3a this past year. So it goes
  21. and once again, were competitive for most of the game and came away with the L. 2 more L's please and thank you what kind of haul can POLES get with a QB starved team comes a groveling
  22. Purdue Head Coach is 37 years old, from all accounts, big selling point was how he will be able to relate with the 2023 college football landscape, this is no different then a teenager on Twitter with last name Brohm losing his mind with his "bat signals" every time Purdue got a verbal last 6 years. I see no problems with the HC doing a short video promoting his team after snagging what many thought was the #1 QB in the portal. OC is 36, the DC is 37, this is what new NIL/Portal College football looks like, sounds like, adapt or die they say. We here in Indiana, have been rooting for the local (some more local for others) kid in Brady Allen, me one of them, Purdue was ALWAYS going to be going into this season even if Brohm was here looking for another QB, bottom line, Brady Allen was not anointed the starter for the upcoming season, article his dad gave pretty much outlined that and away they go, knowing that Hudson Card was going to come in and have 2 years left. Any Boiler fan would be doing victory laps, if Hudson Card came to Purdue straight from HS, I want to say he was like top 50 player coming out, he wasn't going to beat out Ewers and like Temp mention, their is a certain new QB entering that room too. From what I can gather, Harrell prefers a more dual threat and has more RPO in his system where as Brohm was more of a traditional pocket gunslinger (Brady Allen's skill set) system he calls. https://n.rivals.com/content/athletes/hudson-card-212787?view=pv 110 overall, 3rd best dual threat coming out if you get into the ole Rankings
