I'm stepping down in Protest
Coach Nowlin replied to a topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Sorry you feel that way In nowhere in you posts did it show any promotion of Indiana HS Football. You do you though. always have, and for the record, I simply asked to refrain from comparing school based on how many black athletes they have. If that makes me a snowflake, so be it, but I felt it was the correct call for where that rabbit hole was going. For the record, there was no threat of banning, or anything such. A simple request was made by me, but go ahead create your standard Martyr complex, its your go to playbook. -

Buzea to Crown Point
Coach Nowlin replied to Tommy's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Don't think its fair to put Coach Good in the @DT crosshairs just because Crown Point hired Coach Buzea The article clearly stated that CP was the only job in NWI that he would leave for. The 2 are not connected in any way and any conjecture to link the two is just plain silly. -
Hard Pass on Matt Ryan Darnold... what separates him from Mitch? Both look to be high QB draft picks that have had little consistent success and I would argue that Mitch has had a far better go at it thus far then Darnold and it would be a downgrade for the Bears. SO.. Double Hard pass

Buzea to Crown Point

Living here since 2004, I couldn't agree more. The transformation Crown Point has made over that time has been seen in the community's investment in youth sports and overall long range plans for the city. Truly is HUB CITY of Lake County. Love living here and gladly support many of the youth sports that is offered within the HS Teams programs, YMCA ( as seen here) and youth leagues both by city and travel. Granted, it helps that most of that money has come from being fortunate birthplace of a BILLIONAIRE who has been very philanthropical both in his days on earth and since his death with his families foundation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_White_(businessman). https://www.forbes.com/profile/dean-white/?sh=483d3bff59a8 -

You can never trust a drafted BEARS player at Safety..... See Chris Conte.....but that went your way

I believe that anger directed at the end of the game should be redirected to 1 sec left on the clock and defending 39 yards and yet go 1 high single safety and not make them throw underneath, but that's just me. they did allow a lot of physicality throughout the game, bummed they threw that flag, would love to see it not end that way. Though again, you can point to kicking FG instead of going for the tie as well as a game changing dynamic decision.

Is Jacob Eason that bad ?? DOn't know, haven't seen him play, but you invested a 4th round pick, which for a QB isn't that awful. Its like folks don't even think he is on the team. Talking about bringing in all these old retreads... yuck Im sure he we won't have to recruit all that hard to get kids to play for the catholic school
