I think most Bears fans would be THRILLED with 10 win season in year 1 of Coach Johnson and now especially with the amount of injuries they have had defensively..... To achieve that they will need to go 4-4 in the final stretch of games, I only see 1 "gimme" If there is such a thing but it is looking like hosting Cleveland at home would be as close to one as you can get. Packers twice, like to think that is a split at minimum, but Packers have lost back to back home games to Panthers and now Philly. Bears on road to Philly, that would be incredible win to get but not counting on that one. Boogeyman and Steelers come to town, like that matchup, but won't be easy. Going to be exciting stretch A Minny H Steelers A. Eagles A. Packers H. Browns H Packers A 49ers H. Lions What a stretch !!!!

Just take a peek at IHSAATV and search ANDREAN and then put the film on and see if they have an OL/DL to get it done. It starts with the 6'7 325 pound Wisconsin Commit at OL and in key downs plays DT..... Average weight up front is like 275 or so on the OL. In key moments they will use their JR MLB/RB with offers from Minnesota, Purdue and Rutgers so far along with many in the MAC at Running Back Their entire box defense is like average 6'1 215 at LB and their OLB are unbelievable as well size and skill. There is a reason they have only given up 13 now Touchdowns in 11 games with 6 of those those coming against Merrilliville who also has multiple D1 kids in 5a team more than likely playing in Semi State next week. Outside of MVille game Andrean defense has given up 3 rushing touchdowns all year, those 3 have been when the score was already 35-0, Angola and RCHS, ours in the 3rd quarter had everyone on starting Defense minus the D1 LB, it looked like, and our 2nd one was against what looked like 2nd team full on sub out. Scary part is Andrean is not SENIOR dominated overall team.

YIKES I was FLOORED after the penalty he kept the points on the board instead of going up potentially You are up 17-10 with 10 mins to go in the game on the road.... and you will have 4th down and 1 half yard to go.........and you kick a FG........to go up 10 not go for the throat and 14 points ... Even if you miss the the TD, now Chicago has to go 99 yards .......to Tie the game.....when you Defense at that point was playing pretty well. Those are how you get fired in the NFL. The take the points crowd cannot convince me that was the correct decision even in hindsight......gave Bears all the life they needed, giving up only 3 points felt much like a victory in that sequence and catapult the team with new life.....then 20-17.....then Shank Punt.... then 24 -20 in a blink....with a WASHED UP QB to lead the comeback...... Even Reverend Winston ( Jameis ) was pleading with him to go for TD after the penalty......

Oh I am sure there will be some flat to curl zone drops with how much DC Allen is using Nickel blitzes last few weeks, he can handle it!!!

I think you have underestimated Coach Ben Johnson desire to play physical football and not be just a gadget guy Insertion of the Rookie at LT and investment in the interior has made great gains overall, now just stay healthy I was wrong on cutting Edmonds, under DennisAllen Scheme he has been a productive LB, coaching and systems matter and now he is playing to his strengths it seems so far. I have stated on this forum many times, and I am VERY patient with coaching, but NFL for sure, COACHING MATTERS, and last year when it was all said and done in Chicago, it was amateur hour and GM POLES was handcuffed by previous upper echelon leadership decisions, when Poles and Warren were finally able to convince George and ultimately Virginia to cut bait and deal with it , and then PAY the top guy on the market which should shore up the that spot for the next 2 decades plus ( he is my dream MIKE TOMLIN coach, aka BEN JOHNSON) Then you see the talent come through. Coach Johnson came in and just flat out busted CW18 from jump street, if you caught any of the early early stuff out of camp back in the spring time, CW18 would say that he really thought for minute Coach Johnson just had it out for him but they both understood that things had to change ASAP, starting with Mechanics ..... Accountability to those mechanics. So much talent, he will continue to take to hard coaching and accountability and return the game will slow down for him sooner rather than later, at least that is my hope Orchids of Asia ?

Sounds good to me: Now, can we all agree that CW18 and his finger painted nails and him hugging his mother after a game in college have had ZERO impact on : 1. His leadership 2. His Progress 3. His ability to perform 4. Doing his part in Winning Games in the National Football League Seems like a pretty close knit and professional locker room to me !!!
