  1. Multiple reports have Poles getting extended to match Ben Johnson contract length. Hey Hey.
  2. I told Irish, after the game, I feel bad for Galloway, Leal and Goode, it matters to them, and not just Purdue week, just for the name on the front, its clear. .... How GOODE didn't have an offer to IU is exactly seems to be what has plagued the program last 3 decades give or take a one off year. Yes, Yasir fella is who I keep seeing on the Bench looking like a complete knucklehead......he is the first one I get rid of. how many more games does IU win if they have that kind of analytical output consistently?
  3. Get out there in the yard and start working on throwing that bean bag while on the move !!!!
  4. no arguments here tough sledding for our high school players a new game but one thing that seems to be apparant, more and more HS kids are starting to see that getting on the field earlier at a lesser school by tradition could pay dividends more so than being just a guy in a room full of guys who are constantly getting recruited on or over
  5. Presidents equate to CEO's. and their role is primarily on the business side of the NFL to ensure financial/ business success for the Owner of said team. Some teams like Dallas Own/Act as CEO/President, Jerry Owns, Son is CEO/Prez. For the longest time Bears were Owner and paper pusher with zero football sense Mr. Phillips as President, he did a great job of making Bears lots of money, however, on field product suffered many times over, now with Kevin Warren, not only does he have Biz experience in NFL in same position, like in Minnesota, he is a football person as well. The good CEO/Presidents allow the guy they hire at GM to run the football operations without hinderance and get called upon when asked for finances of said players, FA, extensions, etc, but not hey Kevin who do you like at pick 10?
  6. in my opinion: Vertical Owner hires President who hires GM who hires HC who in conjunction with HC/GM hire staff I believe the best ran organizations do it that way. If I am GM candidate, and the Owner or Previous GM hires the HC then hire the GM, what if there is issues that the new GM has with whoever the owner/president hired? For instance, When Pace was fired, and Poles Hired, then Flus hired 2 days after Poles, no way Poles had enough time to vett and it was done by Ted Phillps and George......and you saw how that went.
  7. I dont' blame him, he is looking for situation where Ownership/Prez, hires GM who hires HC and get the vertical alignment vs JAGS situation so it goes
  8. no doubt skill is there to be a Coach of RB's. My issues is he is just a GIANT........... From a very well thought of member of the NFL coaching who is currently a finalist for Saints job, Saints are waiting for Super Bowl to end and then they will talk to Moore one more time and make a decision
  9. free.....freeze...... 🙂 If you could of just ran faster or became a guard
  10. not thrilled about this one Grade A ........HOLE............. NOBODY liked him in KC, coming from a coach on staff........happy he left to DC, lasted 1 year there, 1 year UCLA.......hmmmmmm
  11. sounds like Ian Cunningham cold feet Jags, may not be going
  12. https://247sports.com/recruitment/noah-ehrlich-147963/recruitinterests/\
  13. The Purdue way Same reason they've had a tuition free since 2012 I think. Concur Much will change when it's guaranteed money spread across to all schools
  14. Sold ....... Or an extra 0?
  15. The 80s
  16. Louisville will be the closest trip for us Hoosiers I am Steak Snob from Chicago.....my list is extensive and its amazing
  17. Purdue Athletics
  18. correct. but my comment was to say Purdue was only in the Black because they weren't paying players last 2 years, they were and they were in the black prior. my point is they have operated fiscally responsbile as a self funded department
  19. I mean I would take it in a heartbeat much more to come before I can get a pulse of what the Boilers would look like under Coach Odom and roster flipping
  20. They were in the Black every year Coach Jeff Brohm was there, taking them to multiple bowl games and a B10 Championship game, just in 2022. Coaching Matters
  21. and that scale I believe as well heads to the Chiefs because of #15..... just like it did for Peyton.... and Tom...... The great ones have that competitive gene that creates these situations to find other reasons why they are successful instead of saying.....hey man, Pat Mahomes is on an ALL TIME RUN and who knows when it will end, same with Brady and to a certain extent Peyton...... It is a disservices those elite players and their accomplishments when folks want to add ASTRISKS...
  22. Purdue was in the black again
  23. as we know, when these schedules are made, you hope to see good rosters of the opponent, like the Purdue / ND series that was signed, I believe was in Brohm's 2nd year I think, maybe 3rd, but they didn't get to play when he was the Head Coach even........ Then you add the new Portal rules that re in place now, that was after many of these schedules get contracted out. Its never really anyone's "fault" if the other team ends up taking a turn for the worse. just happens
  24. nah, Temp is gonna sit this one out. no chance
  25. nah, just pointing out, that in these convesations, heavy is the head that wears the crown, just like the Pats run, as well. The national talking narrative created the opportunity to write that article, which I understand, my whole goal here is to debunk all the NFL is rigged, the officials are in bed with Chiefs, et. al. conversation. It just isn't logical as Bob pointed out in his post about the amount of people that would have to keep that under wraps. I watch and consume A LOT of NFL Football. Not just on Sundays, throughout the week, and each Monday, there is long series of look how bad these REFS are this game and this week with same type of calls, Roughing QB, Non Holds, DPI calls. Because its the Chiefs, because there is this obbession with the role of Travis Kelce GF and the saturation of the Pat, Travis and Andy when you turn on the TV and commericals come on, creates a natural negative bias for many, which I am cool with, but to think that these games are being rigged for an outcome i just cannot get behind. So everytime there an article like Yahoo's sure, ok, me thinks if you did such a breakdown for Eagles, Bills, et al you would find similar situations. The goal is 100% perfect, sure, from the REF angle, is that reasonable ? If that is the goal then why use humans, last I checked, haven't seen one of those unicorns, known as PERFECT HUMAN
