general public has acces to the all 22 , cost money, but NFL provides it At this point, almost a week later, if there was truly a flag thrown and picked up in 2025, there would be a video out and shared A WHOLE BUNCH OF TIMES. yes, that makes of what your were saying now

There has always been a correlation between private/parochiol schools and excellent academics. In these awards mention, why would this be a 'thing' to bring a negative tone to this conversation? Then goes into, A, how many Head Coaches take the time to follow NFF, if they do, take the time to fill out the application to meet the requirements to go for the award. Kudos to the schools who got submitted and for those selected. Just don't know why it cannot be a postiive celebratory thread giving a Hats off to these communities. Instead, we get a breakdown of the winners followed by the "LOL"
-
These type of things have to be nominated for perhaps there were great public schools who could of been in contention, but for whatever reason did not get nominated by those responsibilty for nominations. Typically there is a criteria for these things, perhaps there were great public schools that did not fit the criteria to be nominated. The NFF is not searching and researching 300+ football playing schools to get their winners. For those who do not click links to read articles: Good Luck to our 6 teams representing the Nation for Indiana, perhaps we snag the Hatchell Cup I believe Catherdral won a huge national award last year as well. Kudos to them

How fun, I outlined a scenario where the flag no flag mistake was made...... THEN for giggles, I did some googling...... Wouldn't you know....Jim Nantz himself has weight in: https://www.si.com/nfl/jim-nantz-explains-late-flag-mystery-bills-chiefs-afc-title-game#:~:text=Everyone who called the game,it led to with viewers. so, lets just say, COULD NOT BE. 🙂
-
this is the context of the clarity that the conversation was about......not Brady winning 7 Super Bowls
-
is there video of flag on field picked up? Could it be you missed Nantz, comment that spotter told him flag on field, they have producers/spotters in their ear at all times.......You expect 2 man booth to be able watch the ball/play/action and at the same time be able to see all 8 officials on the field? Perhaps a verbal mistake by producer/spotter? Josh Allen a VERY GOOD PLAYER, however, until you win those things called Championships then you are not in the same conversation at my example of 6 time winner Tom Brady and now the run of Pat Mahomes.
-
Not to me, hence why I asked for clarity

I will take Purdue +31.5 🙂

great now do the other 31 teams on a week by week breakdown.
-
I believe you have to be 2 tds better than the Chiefs in the 4th quarter like you had to be with Brady in the 4th quarter not because of stripes, because these 2 gentleman have a certain it factor when it comes to making everyone around them that much better and a laser focused drive to execute during key moments of a 60 min game. THE GREAT ONES have this charachteristic

Every Monday, for 18 weeks of regular season football in the NFL there is some sort of conversation point about missed call, bad flag, no flag, bad spot, bad interpretation...... Weeks 1-18 This is not a new thing So in theory, having an all star crew, should not indicate poor officiating, especially, when you stated in the example about the 4th down spot, they got the call right........even if mechanically from the arm chair eyeballs it didn't seem correct the Spot mechanics of the wing officials from HS to NFL have never been 100% every time of the 2 wings coming together on the same spot, half yard here there CONSTANTLY in games, then one will decide to go to the other wings spot before the final spot given This happens EVERY GAME at EVERY LEVEL.
-
if, so perhaps instead of obscure reference where myself have to figure out your classic short sentence stuff, you could enlighten me on this
-
what was trouble about it? 1 saw it one way, the other saw it another way, then they get to a spot This literally happens many times weeks 1-18 as well, if we are being honest , you've all seen it as well, and these are crews that are week to week with each other
-
I am sure it will go similar to how it went after the tragic Corey Stringer dealth in Minnesota An institute did a study on Heat related football injuries, ranked states, Indiana got an F, Suits in statehouse, UH OH, suits and IHSAA talk, Suits say, you better do something or we do.......IHSAA creates the new model for Heat Illness and practice (WHICH I FULLY SUPPORT BY THE WAY) So, if Suits are talking in session right now, my guess, again just from my previous years of watching how things unfold, the Suits will tell the IHSAA, you create something or we will........ Time will tell

THANK YOU (insert MIchael Scott slamming hand on table GIF/MEME) its the definition of recency bias across the all the platforms of information consumption: TV/POD/SOCIAL/MESSAGE BOARD et. al. Its what the Monday Morning QB was built on
-
it was never anything other than an exhibition game

So thats a nonanswer to my honest inquiry why working with same crew changes the rules of football of the assigned position of the referee crew So what I just heard was, if youre in the NFL and youre rated the best at your respective position by whatever metric NFL uses, then your not going to do as well as you would the prevous 18 weeks because you are unfamilar to your partners. Interesting
-
We are talking about supposedly the BEST of the BEST..... Exacltly my point.... BJ and U and R all have 3 seperate and distinct roles..... Why would it matter if those 3 worked together all year or not? Same with Line judges.... your job is to do your responsibilities to your area of mechanics defined by the rules of football officials..... How does these roles as defined different when you work with same crew or do not work with same crew at the highest level known as NFL? No one has answered this question. Just because I do not know the other linejudge, that changes my technique/mechanics?
-
Just interesting....I was told , well the former player talking heads say its so........ a few days later,,, other players also state how silly it is to think Refs are riggin games....... Yet........no one cares to look at any other teams, how they have been benefitted or not by refs.... nope, Chiefs BAD......Taylor Bad.......boogie men...... Yet.....here we are 🙂
-
So I remember our wonderful chatter in this thread about you know former players being on these talk shows saying the things that they're saying about the Chiefs and the reffs Another former player's point of view which I Believe is the appropriate level of conversation. That's it relates to this topic Like I've said before, heavy is the head that wears the crown

why would having the same crew still be better than having the best rated for each position being tabbed? Not trying to be difficult, generally curious? How does one crew members job affect another as I outlined in previous message? Your job is to perform your duties to your best abilities under the mechanics that are taught and all that, just becuase you may not have worked with some others, how would that negativetly impact the job performance?

and there was many in chicago market who say Waren is the boogie man too SMH NFL is VERY protective of their in house world, no doubt about it. Indianapolis Colts have put on HS coaching clinic limited to like 100 ish coaches, been able to go twice, not sure they still do it or not, but when I went last time, it was at their facility, we got to go to breakout rooms, so I was in RB room, with Coach Tom Rathman, they had scheme stuff up on the wall, and he freaked and quickly went up and erased it right away..... just in case someone had a phone out.....NO PHONE CAMERA SIGNS eveyrwhere We wanted to see the weight room, off limits, they did not allow anyone to even see what they had in their weightroom HOWEVER: 1st clinic I had been to that was an OPEN BAR and had Shrimp cocktail on the food table to be had, to go with Burgers, Wings, etc. Real nice touch from Colts.

But if you are an expert at your position within your crew and have earned a rating to warrant your super bowl nod, why would that matter being part of a crew at that level? If you are BJ, then why does it matter who your Umpire is ? Your job as U is your job, not working with the BJ before shouldn't have a negative effect on your job as U? What am I missing?
