when you hitch your wagon to the wrong QB, things happen, and the thing is, Daniel Jones may end up still being a good NFL QB, he is now in Minnesota since being let go, same path Sam Darnold took, getting with Coach O'Connell to see if his system and coaching and reverse his career arc as well. Bears actually were in same boat, they chose not to extend Fields to see what shook on the DJ moore trade, they may have been in same boat, it will be interesting to see where JF goes now he is a FA playing out his entire rookie contract

then the follow up

a true mis step from Freeman there, tough to get the ball in air against OSU but still way better chance to score a TD there then to make it 13 and still have little time to get stops and 2 possesions and 2 touchdowns.

Oh, that is a scene I think from Hard Knocks off season where they followed Giants, and the famous scene of John Mara and GM from Elkhart 🙂 who reminded his boss they gave Daniel Jonens 40 million and couldn't afford Barkley ...."I really don't want to see #26 as an Eagle". whoopsie

You should know that Ben Johnson was born in 1986 Mike Singletary below Brian Urlacher below ZERO COACHING JOBS I understand Marcus Freeman, however that was not something that lined up at this time At least if you are trying to hold onto the clutches of the Ditka Era , you could of at least said Ron Riveria, he actually has an NFL coaching resume that could be taken serious unlike the ohter 2 Bear greats you mentioned.

who is You all? I said nothing, @Boilernation didn't now and stated that. Odd....... and transparency, I have no ideas what this link says..... as I am someone who has not activated this social media account, I cannot see its contents

You atttack Williams leadership because of his choice of Man Satchels , you call purse, which in the culture of Pro athletes is a thing, doesn't have to be your thing, but to opin that his leadership is non existent because of his choice of walking into the game or hallas hall with fashion bag and once again the horror of painting nails..... which I will let you in on a little secret.....he didn't paint his nails every game......did you know that? hurry go google, to get your answer glad youre back paying attention to the NFL, they have missed you I would agree on OL but the MAJOR difference was guys who wore the headsets and no pads was the difference. I would say that McClarin was very good, but in a more stable situation , DJ Moore , Keenen Allen, Rome Oduze, Kmet as a group is probably more successful and better weapons than what Washington put out there. Kudos to their staff on scheming O to maximize what Daniels does well

No kidding I have been talking about this for 10 months plus, this was the year, the bandaid stop gaps he tried didn't work out for various reasons, Bates, Davis, Shelton They have 4 picks in the top 72 around 70 million in cap space SOunds like Coach Johnson is bringing OL coach from Lions with him, that is exciting (can they sneak Sewell in a suitcase out of Detroit? ) the OL will be addressed heavily so will the DL and LB corp imo

Last line make zero sense as I have said nothing on the GM of Giants I am choosing to take the stance that Williams year is not anywhere near where he will end up Step 1 happened yesterday Its fine you hitched your wagon to Daniels who is a very good young QB who had a great year with a better situation than Williams had in Chicgao this is not debatable at all. I would make a point he was THAT Good to get the Bears among all the disfunction to a good start, 4-2, then the organizaiton failed him and the team and THEY STILL had opportunities to get to 9-10 wins, unfortunately Bears players and COACHES executed very poorly with compettivie poise in the 4thg quarter costing them opporunties. I am moving onward and upward care to eloborate or we in the business of having to read your mind??

Matt Nagy finished with a winning record and 2 playoff appeareances..... He was too SCHTICKY for me, too CUTE at times, I hope Coach Johnson is selectively aggressive with some of thos gadget things Muda, you didn't want McCarthy, and now tone of disappointment for Johnson hire, so who was your horse? Key to this was Johnson PICKED POLES and Bears over Brady and Raiders with his own GM all in together and Jags....

how many games did Caleb do that ?> I know the answer do you ? Or do you just go with the narratives that pull you in to click bait it ? I have Zero issues thus far with the Caleb Williams led rookie year, but I also dig deeper to Headline catching clicks and AM radio You did say what you said, more than entitied to your opinion, doesn't mean you are correct either. You have yet to quantify any REASON as to why you think Daniels is let me check notes again, yup, "MUCH BETTER" than Caleb Willams, only evidence you provided was his making the playoffs and making it to nFC title game, which we all know is not a 1 man job, but hey, your eyes NEVER lie do they?? Bottom line: WAY TOO EARLY for those to make assumptions on players in the NFL after 17 games, but you do you brah ...... did I do that right? Also, welcome back to the NFL, I remember vividly, how much you used to talk about these parts how much YOU DO NOT WATCH THE NFL, seem to know a whole lot about the chicago bears and nfl in generall for someone who proudly talked about how they don't watch it ...... so Welcome back

I just go by the stats that available to me as someone who has a key to the backdoor of the GID This account was created on the exact day stated. This is fact. I mean it wasn't;t that hard to figure it all out and by the way YOU';RE welcomed..

I told some other friends when they asked, I said 31-17 myself OSU, was not thrilled with the 2 pt conversion FINANCIALLY SPEAKING, but the gutsy fade to their DUDE who SHOULD be a top 10 pick THIS YEAR, a top 5 pick NEXT year and could very well be the #1 pick when he FINALLY gets to go to the NFL , he made the play and Howard delivered, however, the excitment I displayed FINACIALLY SPEAKING ONLY on that play not only got me into -8.5 range again, but also got over the HOWARD passing yards of 225, flannel man in beard at Station 21 was NOT a happy camper at me, to which I say, SORRY BOUT YA !!!! Tremendous game plan early, but hard to go athletie on athlete with OSU with the passing game limitations Leaonard on ND offense has. Kudos to the year they had, grinded out many games, power run game, great coaching, players who are easy to root for (Kiser, Bowen, Leanard, Love etc) way too many NFL guys accross the 53 yards from ND sideline
-
Your only basis to say Daniels is better was he is playing for a trip to the super bowl and Caleb is not I showed you stats of passing (give the daniels leg stats makes him more dynamic but also plays in system that wants to use his legs more where Caleb is more of pocket guy who can escape when needed) eerlier simuilar , you answered reasoning is because of your own eyes yet here we Bears lose a game they had won, against Daniels in Daniels home field, to go to 5-2 and yet the play in question did not involve Caleb in the slightest, nor the play before where Bears gave them yards free needed so Daniels could actually reach the EZ, arm strength he couldn't make it before the free yards, but yes...Daniels is MUCH BETTER then Caleb Williams....... got it. Could it be possible that both QBs have exceptional talent that could be fostered for many future succeses

thanks for proving my point

December 13th this is your 38th day 295 posts in 38 days. Setting the GID on fire !!! New "rookie" record . shattered it

Very Important to listen to Ben Johnson switched agents just last week from.......Trace Armstrong to Rick Smith and Prioriity Sports. Today Bears hire Ben Johnson If this doesn't scream RYAN POLES IS IN CHARGE I do not know what else to you
-
So if Caleb Williams and Daniels switch spots, are the results the same? I say yes because of my what my EYES have seen
-
exactly 17 games does not define one's career arc For some sure......I choose understanding of what it takes to succeed and at times the time it takes unfortuneatly some live in the hot take world and quickly label athletes, especially football players playing QB busts all too soon. I guess I am able to sift through that noise
-
So your saying that the Game of Football success of one's team is soley on 1 position called Quarterback. Nothing else should be considered. Interesting ..........

its the snowballs at Santa huh for Philly 🙂

What qualtifeis "MUCH BETTER" 62.5% 3541` yards passing 20 tds 6 int 69% 3568 25 tds 9 ints Yes, his rushing stats have helped his overall game One QB had a full year without much turmoil, the other guy had HC, OC both fired within first 7 weeks. POINT is this, after 1 NFL season, painting the SParty brush so broadly is just not something that I choose to do, I choose to understand that in the game of football, espeically at the NFL level, opinions such as yours can easily change within next 3 years........ Bottom line, both players IMO, are going to be very good NFL players for the respective organizations.

Data and facts say otherwise GRRRRRR. Always reliable Andrews..... GRRRRRRRRR
-
Even more hollow coming from a guy who choose Illinois then transferred......

If you think Daniels has the type of year he has if they simply just flipped him and WIlliams spots your are big time cray cray Send a giant thank you to Trace Armstrong, this goes back to 1993 rookie hold out Trace and 3rd year on the job Ted Phillps.... McCaskey's just can't stop themselves......
