I would like to think that School/Team/Coaches will have a policy that any player/student who is awaiting a Covid test results must be quarantined in the first place. To me that makes no sense for someone who had a symptom or 2, goes get a test, but then continues to school and practice. That person, in any field, whether working in a factory, office school insert all here, should remain away until test results come back

@Muda69 thank you for your support What would be great is if on this main forum here, that we can use words to get our meaning across with having to substitute *** for the missing letter on the naughty list Seems to some misconception on this main forum that you can use language that Coach TA would say could cost you a Yellow Penalty flag and replacing said word with * still makes it the word.... I know its just a word, and I know that the folks have been given leeway in OOB area, but on the main forum, I choose to continue to moderate in the same way and spirit as Coach Adams did. In my opinion, when you have to use different naughty language to try to get your point across anyway, you lose your credibility in the 1st place. just one guys opinion I would also say the last 2 pages as once again turned into another OOB Soap Opera: I would love not to lock yet another one.... choice is in the users.

Our athletic trainer is on site every practice The threshold is I believe 100.3 If a temperature is above that the player leaves and proper channels of protocol and conversations are had I would like to think at least everyone on our staff who takes the temperatures understands that if a player is over that temperature threshold it is wise not to try to hide that and I would also gauge 100% of the coaches in the state of Indiana who are doing this would also feel the same

I know smaller school perspective here, but many of these folks you refer to are volunteers, for smaller events like Volleyall or basketball, different sports teams and their coaches are in charge of hosting the concession stand on various nights. I know our ticket takers at RCHS will get a "season pass" to all the sports events if they work X amount of games for the year.

You haven't had to deal with it when my email buzzer goes off and I have coaches/admins from across the state over the 10 years of helping running the site and them asking, WHY DID THIS GET POSTED in YOUR SITE?? Because that has absolutely happened to me on multiple occasions.

My record is SPOTLESS when it comes to reporting serious information such as: Schools cancelling, games cancelling, coaching hires, coaching resignations et. al. So please go find where I have made a false claim on something as important as this topic. That is why our long standing standard set by Coach Tim Adams, was to verify and not engage in rumor. You are defending yourself countless times on here lately about not 'rooting' for schools to shut down this fall, and advocating for Spring, however, when you make such a hasty post and to be so completely wrong, that does not help you defend against the other users who have labeled you as the poster getting joy out of schools not playing. Just some advice, you can take it or leave it. just a 3rd party eyes with ZERO agenda on here.
