Sharpe Out At Noblesville

I was wondering with the classic CHIRP CHIRP. 🙂 Never heard of the Harvard however, I just know I didn't want to write a 600 word essay in 1998 as part of the admission process, so that went into the trash can and this Purdue Application with no essay went in the mail. Rest as they say......is history -

Valpo/Warsaw being top in 5a (bumped down bc of Cathedral and Snider) being the top of the class, followed by Whiteland, these schools are tick above 2000 students. Then you take the top 4a 32 teams and that puts the stopping point at Marian H.S. with just over 1000 students. So gap of enrollment in the new 5a with 64 teams is over 1000 students, perhaps even 1200. Currently with 5a the gap is only like 5-600 student differences if you take out Success Factor

I would love to see an SEC team come up play somewhere here in the great Midwest on a nice COLD SNOWY day in December Bring me IU v s Georgia that would be very delightful however, I just from pure savage point of view, too many reversible jacket folk I come into contact with, so still would love to see that matchup

There is some smoke around Chuck Martin to Purdue, this is correct, but so early right now in process But one would think, If Coach Martin to Purdue would keep Coach Simmons potentially in a role with him at Purdue, which could mean he is off the market at places such as Warren / Noblesville if he is wanting to head back into the HS game. -

Not always the case, if you live outside the borders of the public school you must pay to come Advantage of Private vs Pubic which I am sure you all are aware of What is the population of students at Andrean and Lafayette Central Catholic (the 2 I am most familiar with) of ESL students and IEP/SPED programing? For instance last I checked Rensselaer had about 35 or so students who are very much low level 0 ESL students and another good chunk of Life Skills students, so if our enrollment on paper is 435, in actuality of available athletes pool is really about 350. Do you think Rensselaer has 88% Athletic participation like Andrean does ? Yes that's right, it's near 90% of every human being of HS age at Andrean is involved in at least 1 SPORT the school offers. So with an enrollment of 450 or so, at near 90%, that is whole lot of options to choose from to make your athletic teams. I am pretty sure LCC is very similar. So when these conversations happen, this is what many publics fans/coaches. etc get frustrated with. Its a stacked deck when it comes PP and how their classification is figured out because PP can control an enrollment by simply not having programing that Publics have to offer, such as SPED services, migrant/transient families who show up within the school borders. Please don't look at this message as me whining about LCC/Andrean for instance, many great peoples and Coach Skinner is a very close friend of mine and I am very much a Coach Nay fan as well. These are just the facts of why many get frustrated. We have been knocked out by Luers in 2009/2010 Semi State and we've. beaten LCC in 2014 Semi State and Mater Dei in state same year, not one time during these games or any other have our coaches talked or made this a talking point for our players in prep. Just went out and did what we did and sometimes it has went really well, others times not so much. -

Up in NWI, I will tell you that Andrean may have the worse facilities / School of all the PP in the state. It's old, full of band aides, the list goes on. Diocese decided to help fund BNI and its school/facilities instead. So much for that rumored school off 231 in CP for the 59ers. Can't just move away from 5959 Broadway and become the Andrean Popes or something of that nature 🙂 So that would be considered an advantage for public school in my neck of the woods if that is a thing to consider for families -
Kevin Wilson, yea that Kevin Wilson, just fired from Tulsa yesterday or day before

Meh, not a very productive player when given his opportunities He would not see the field at IU See what Mack Brown just said in last public comments since being let go at UNC. "Next guy gets $12 Million when we only had $4 Million for NIL". Purdue is self sufficient Athletic Dept, now with Revenue sharing they have to give up more of their own money, but yes Purdue didn't have the War Chest that IU and many others had available to them to pay for these players Nobody in California cares about college sports like they do other places. -
Okay, you hire blue collar toughness in HC in Vrabel, cool, why did he get fired from Tennessee? https://www.si.com/nfl/titans/news/report-poor-communication-misunderstanding-led-to-titans-firing-mike-vrabel Next question, you hire Vrabel, defensive centers HC, he gets a suitable OC, that OC then moves on to HC, then new OC, then moves on to HC and now you have lots of voices again for Caleb to work with in his short career in the NFL, to me that is not a great model Ben Johnson: MY CONCERN: How is this any different than Matt Nagy? Nagy 2 time playoff Bears coach, hired from an organization who has a big time ALPHA HC, in Reid. Ben Johnson, been doing his thing with another Big Time ALPHA has the HC. Didn't we do this already?? What makes Johnson different? Bears hire Johnson, cool, does he get to bring all those really good OL with him? I think I would like to see JOE BRADY: Reasons: 1. Successful with elite QBs of Joe Burrow and Josh Allen and has been involved in great winning programs of LSU (national title) and Buffalo Bills 2. Has a good mix of RUN and Pass 3. Uses BOOTS/ QB movement for success 4. Has experience in coaching in cold weather cities. That is my Horse !!! The Horse is Joe Brady

I think he looked pissed off that they are in the situation they are in, some reports say he wanted to give him the AXE after Patriots game, but wasn't given the green light by George. The bottom line when it comes to the NFL, we really won't truly know because we are not behind those walls. Agents/Players/Coaches with agendas leak things to the Ian's and Schefter and Glaziers of the the world, hard to figure out what is real and what is fabricated for personal gains in the world of NFL

2024 Hoosier Conference
Coach Nowlin replied to CoachDurham's topic in The Indiana High School Football Forum
Big Winner Coach Snyder, Hoosier Conference, his reversible jacket went 2-0 over the weekend 🙂 Thanks @CoachDurham -
You asked why, I gave scenario of reason of why I agree at this stage, he is not going to go, unless you know ND wins a National Title, which is possible, then perhaps the NFL rocket ship is fulled lit

Because in the world of coaching Football, the NFL is the pinnacle of your chosen career choice of coaching Football. For some coaches, that is a huge part of their goals to achieve. Do you know what is Marcus Freeman's career goals? To be the HC of ND I do not believe is the Pinnacle for him, perhaps, and you have your coach still another 32 years in South Bend, that will put Coach Freeman at age 70. The amount of things you do not have to do as an NFL HC that could be VERY appealing to someone like Marcus Freeman 1. Recruiting 2. Recruiting 3. Recruiting and keeping your own roster 4. Booster rah rah rah events 5. Make sure "college" kids remain going to online and or in person classes to maintain eligibility (I know ND is not like everywhere else but still....). 6. Dealing with Diva Players who believe they are NFL players when in reality they are no where near NFL players with NIL money and how to diver it up Your Role as NFL HEAD COACH is to Coach MEN all year long. Yes there is the draft and FA evals and film and all that, but that is a group of people who are in those meetings to create the board. Way different than traveling all over the nation trying to convince 18 year olds and their families to come to your university. Just a few examples, guys like Saban didn't survive NFL because he couldn't give up the control he DEMANDED and got at Alabama

They never scored a TD against anyone in the 1Q the ENTIRE year against teams who play in BOWL GAMES and not an earned playoffs, aka, INDIANA ST It was just ND or IU
