  1. Coaches must wear masks this fall. What about our officials? I sure hope so!! Would officials like @DannEllenwood refuse to accept their contracted assignments due to requirement of said mask? I have to umpire today in about 2 hours, some nice slow pitch softball, guess what I will have to do, wear a mask, and I will gladly do so.
  2. yeah yeah yeah...... It gave us the 1st down automatically due to the yardage received for penalty fell before the 15 yard march off!! 😀
  3. They would have to win Regional this year for the bump.
  4. We have seen it called a handful of times in our favor last few years. Punt Snap, was one call, Defense was trying to mimic our snap count on our Punt team, we got an automatic 1st down. Same with our offense, we have a very rhythmic cadence, Defense also tried to mimic it, got called for it. I want to say sometime between 2010-2013, our offense may have been called for a penalty, we have a sent called "DOG" and our OL like to head to the line of scrimmage to bark when we call it. We got nabbed there I believe
  5. I promise you that every Superintendent, Principal, and Athletic Director have had countless conversations at each and every school in our state about everything Covid Related Nobody is going into this blind from a coaching/school perspective.
  6. We will have different lifting and conditioning pods with 10-12 players in each POD, same POD, Same Time, Monday thru Thursday In house practice 2 days a week, for 2 hours, no pads Practicing Social distancing where applicable and coaches where Masks at all times. School is shut down and off limits Friday thru Sunday
  7. Thanks for Posting Wish I could of gotten to know him like @DK_Barons and @77Jimmie did. Thinking about you too @Mrs Gridirondigest
  8. We are all set to go on July 6th here after many meetings and school protocols in place.
  9. Boone Grove lost over 90% of their offensive production with graduating QB, RB and FB @Graphic Context will be best to speak on them, but I know they were VERY SR dominated last year.
  10. if you want info that this thread was actually about, @cw13 link on post 1 is there don't see a purpose other than standard issue back and forth drivel
  11. I have the following yet to be filled Anderson Prep Academy Indianapolis Tech Benton Central Tell City Gary West
  12. Way we have played last couple of rain outs to Saturday Morning game, I am thinking about getting ours moved to Saturday Morning at 10 a.m!! 🤣
  13. You stated that they are making smart moves and other teams should take note, all I did was outline a scenario where that would not make sense
  14. rosters of 80-130 I am sure its easy to hold their own inter squad scrimmage If we have a roster of 50, having a inter squad is not feasible to have a productive experience. Roster of 50, say 15 are Freshman, leaves 35, of those 35, maybe on average 20 could be ready to go against varsity caliber players, even if you made it as even as possible. From a smaller school perspective, I need the scrimmage especially this year with no summer competition days to gauge your team.
  15. They were very close 2 years ago, yes, but I would suspect they will be closer to the 3a line after this year and as @DT stated the new school they will be building will be now pulling more kids IMO from northern Jasper/Newton counties along with Lake and West Porter county. Boone Grove has been a benefactor recently of Lake of 4 Seasons and Winfield sections of CP as many of those families rather send their kids to Boone Grove than driving 20-25 mins from that area to Crown Point HS. 500 some kids vs 2800 some kids. I do not blame those families at all and if I lived closer to Winfield I would think about it myself for my daughter, however, we are VERY happy to be in CP school district for obvious reasons. Eli Carden of KV will only be in his 2nd year starting. Wade Williams still was playing QB when Carden was Sophomore all the way up until I think the playoff game of Carden SOPH year
  16. You do not: Rensselaer, HC Chris Meeks, presented to our Region 4 an application 2 years ago for Steve Brandenburg, it goes through a process from each individual region and onto final step.
  17. the OT from Mt Carmel was there last year but hurt his shoulder in summer session and was out for the entire year, but he has been at Andrean now going on 2nd year I see a theme there of 3 of the 4 teams receiving "transfers" I stopped caring about where kids are going to school long ago. Look forward to the challenge of attempting to knock off the 59ers, last year was quite the track meet
  18. Bellmont has added an Assistant Coach posting on DOE that I added to IFCA board
  19. I think I saw yesterday that the big OL from Ft Wayne got offered by Arizona State yesterday, he will have lots to choose from
  20. FYI: @DK_Barons will be starting the process in next few weeks of getting ready for the upcoming 2020 GID "fiscal" year!! Thanks for our loyal Community Members throughout the last year and many years before CHEERS
