Tough call on Horse Collar....... the momentum of the tackle in my judgement (see what I did there) was with the LN player and his left arm across the chest of the QB, YES the LN player had the back name plate, Yes, the jersey was tugged slightly, however, the sack was because the player got there in time, and tackled him from the side, wraping up right hand first then followed immediately with the left arm across the chest plate of the QB which resulted in the Sack. I contend if the left arm across the chest by the stronger LN player than the Brownsburg QB didn't result in a more lack of better words violent body to ground, then the yellow hanky stays in said pocket. Big Break for Brownsburg, which they proceeded to capitalize on

Well, there was the first month of the season where there was an OL coach who left abruptly after a month......perhaps, something to do with a Purdue Union Hotel that may or may not have been destroyed by overzealous youthful coaches without families......let you draw your own conclusions There is the fact that everyone was getting money they haven't had before and being under the age of 40......let that also be something you can wrap your brain around on what kind of issues that may have caused.

True story, Wife is AWESOME (goes without saying) however in 2010, I did interview for Delphi HC job, she was like cool, have fun, then next day I get a call back from AD wanting to set up final round with Board with another candidate, so I told the wife that and she was like, wait what/?? I go well if I do well there, they could offer me the job, she then goes, OH, well I am not moving from Crown Point, I didn't think you would actually have a shot. Thanks Honey!!! Point being, SHE IS AWESOME, because she knew going into this thing called marriage I was all in of Coaching, and lets me do my thing, but she is not the Coaches Wife in the stands every Friday, etc etc so lesson be learned there, make sure you explain ENTIRE process to your significant other so that you do not have to call the AD and apologize for "wasting their time" which was not a waste but still...... I will just wait to be the HC at Winfield High School., Oh wait, they built Taft middle school instead. 🙂 Fun Fact still, I got a message from my old retired principal just last week at like 1:40......."turned on the tV and there you were". yup, its on rotation now on Game Show Network. (Its true, Its true, Kurt Angle voice) What you should not do is say, "Coach Nowlin, I was told is interviewing today for the Carmel position".
