Russell Wilson's contract situation is as follows: 2024 Wilson signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers for $1.21 million. The Steelers plan to re-sign him for a longer contract after the 2024 season. 2025 Wilson will count $32 million against the Steelers' salary cap. 2024 salary cap hit The Broncos are responsible for most of Wilson's 2024 salary due to the $242.5 million contract they signed with him in 2022. The Broncos released Wilson on March 4, 2024, but still owe him $39 million for the 2024 season. However, the Broncos' contract with Wilson included offset language, which means that the Steelers' $1.21 million offer to Wilson reduces the amount the Broncos owe him. The Broncos will only owe Wilson $37.79 million for the 2024 season. Dead money hit The Broncos' release of Wilson resulted in an $85 million dead money hit over the next two seasons. Wilson's contract with the Broncos included $124 million in guarantees, and the Broncos had already paid $85 million of it before releasing him.

Irishman Athletic Director 6.2k Author Posted August 31, 2022 · IP (edited) For those who feel strongly enough that rumors should be allowed on the site, keep in mind a couple things. 1. These standards were the same standards that Tim Adams, the creator of this site had in place. 2. This is HIGH SCHOOL football, not college or pro football where athletes and coaches are paid very well to do what they do. We are talking about kids, teachers, and parents. Posting rumors of those people puts indivi9duals in a spotlight that they do not necessarily deserve. As far injury rumors, every student has a right to privacy. Posting of possible injuries to specific players without their knowing is a significant violation of their right to privacy. This is not the place to break news. If there is a story or a public post from an injured player or a parent of one, or if there is a news story...ok. Feel free to discuss that here. TA actually limited the discussion on coaching rumors; but mostly from the standpoint of coaching jobs. The change came when a parent saw a post on this site about a possible candidate he thought had interviewed. That coach's current employer was informed of it, and called the coach in to discuss it. A coach should NEVER be put in that position because f what is posted on the site. Again, keep in mind the vast majority of coaches are getting paid pennies per hour for the work they do. There are coaches' families to consider in these spots as well. Other rumors about coaches can create problems as well. I would suggest people look up terms like libel and slander. Again, if there is a news story, a public statement from the coach or district about a topic, post away. Perfect example of this is the story about Hammond Morton. No rumors, and it included a link to the story. But the one that was posted that prompted me posting this was a BIG deal. Not sure how it plays out when the dust settles, but it is important for a story of that magnitude to wait for confirmed sources. Typically, if your post starts with " I heard...." think about it before hitting submit. Hopefully that clarifies things even for those who have read the first post here and wondered what was up. In many cases, like the one that led to me posting the reminder is hidden or deleted before many have seen it. As always, if you have a question feel free to send a message. Now, if you feel so strongly that these standards are wrong, you can let us know that as well, and we can work through a solution, agree to disagree, or take other needed/warranted steps. Rensselaer Moving On

We would not fit in the Midwest Conference, NOR would they even think about inviting Rensselaer to the MWC Our school, has had a nice long run (2001) in the Hoosier Conference in Football, winning the conference 6 times (none in the 2 division model) and have had many great games and battles with many of the schools that have been in and have also left. Here is the facts: We have 440ish kids currently with around 40 who are ESL students/transient populated. Our incoming freshman class was 84 I think of which was only 39 boys. Hoosier Conference has grown with bigger schools such as Logansport who we play this week, just 10 years ago in our State Title year, we had around 540 students in the building. Bottom line, we are not going to all of sudden start growing in our community, SJC closing hurt, and just different population in the hallways these days. We have had rosters of around 32 to 35 last few years. Our school of boys and girls probably has roughly around 370 or so available students in the pool to participate in athletics, we all know that of that 370, you're lucky to 25% of that number to be doing something ECA. What is best for our student athletes across the board is to re-examine (which the Athletic council met and talked at length ) our membership in the Hoosier. One of the BIGGEST reasons is the CENTRAL TIME ZONE, there are times where LCC baseball team is literally taking batting practice at our field while our kids are still in class (we get out at 3:15 central time) as one example. So many times, our athletes/coaches have to get out of class early to get going on trips. It's truly an issue. I am sure our Eastern time zone fans in football LOATHE 8 pm starts. There has not been any invite to any existing conference and I would not expect (no knowledge first hand) decision makers to pull out in the disappointing ways other schools in the past have, but I do know for sure, there is zero invitations to any other conferences that led to this decision, which is not official until our school board votes on it just for the record, I believe all we did was inform the conference of our intentions, one would think the School Board would not bat an eye on this as well. Twin Lakes is upper 3a enrollment, why would they leave Hoosier? No chance West Lafayette, why would they leave because we left? -

competitive Walters calling the O and D, was interesting, but seemed to ignite O Talent evaluations of the current staff is nowhere NEAR previous.......which is what you saw in the QB change albeit injury, but still. Brohm LOVED Browne coming out of HS, just saying -
Great win again today Key factors: 1. Saying good bye to Davis at RG 2. Believe it or not, Mercedes Lewis having a discussion with Waldren about RUNNING THE BALL 3. Letting Swift RUN DOWN HILL 4. Waldren being more patient with his toys, and LEARNING what this team can do and MORE importantly what they CANNOT do right now vs NFL 1st string defenses (see Indy Colts Game) @Bobref Spot on with Williams and accuracy and all that!! 100% Loved how he checked out of a bad pass to a swift sweep for like 10 yards. Also, I've said before in these thread, I think. CW loves to run no huddle and that really gets him into rhythm, especially again today after the 1st Q 7 yard 6 play performance. Definition of a SLOW START Concerns: Health of Defensive Backs: Thank goodness bye next week, I'd imagine Brisker back for Washington, Gordon looked bad on the leg... didn't realize Stevenson was out today Kudos to Cole Kmet , big game at primary position and got Bears thru on long snapping for 3 Quarters of action
