  1. I don’t know if we like it, per se, we just know how to deal with it.
  2. Looking over these forums, there is a lot of whining. No need. We live in the best country in the world and are privileged enough to be fans if a great game (and games should be fun, but that’s another story 😉). I don’t think we should beat each other up over schematics. There’s no such thing as a perfect system, just enjoy the sport for what it is. It’s impossible to keep all of the of the people happy all of the time/nobody gets all the cards (take your pick). That being said, San Dimas High School football rules.
  3. I gave nothing up. But since you think this is such a predicament we’re in, you have two options: A) yank your kid out of football or B) put $20 of gas in your car.
  4. I have spent a good portion of my summers in the western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of the local teams, the Ironwood Red Devils (RDP Yoopers) is pretty good and making long bus rides to Marquette is not uncommon.
  5. Spot on. The folks at the IHSAA are not on an inferior intellectual level. If there was a serious problem, they would step in and do something. It is not our duty or business to police it.
  6. Thank you for not taking this too seriously. It’s a game, and games should be fun. Some people take the fun out of everything. It’s not up to us to make the rules...
  7. South Newton alumnus here. I don’t know if I should thank DT for all of the attention as I’m sure he knows what’s best for the school without even having been there or call him out for being a pompous jerk. There May have been a grammatical error in there, but I don’t really care.
  8. That guy at ASU is a total schlub and then you have the guy at Washington...
  9. Ain't that a kick in the head: another down vote!!! I guess Muda stopped playing Dungeons & Dragons for a second...
  10. Here's what I do for a living, stats: Jeff averaged a little more than 55 points were game. With the exceptions of Harrison, Lawrence Central, and those Red Devils of West Lafayette, they Bronchos with an H simply destroyed their competition by a double digit margin. Conversely, Merrillville gave up a little 14 points per contest. Although the Chesterton, Crown Point, and Valparaiso (their only loss), none of the other games were that close. Essentially, something's gotta give and the weather will also be a factor. I consider this post No Load, as you won't be charged fees for it (you're welcome).
  11. To quote Sanka Coffee from the best motion picture ("Cool Runnings") ever made, "Thanks, Coach!"
  12. Look at that: a down vote!!! How will I deal with the tragedy? Stay tuned...
  13. I would have to agree. 52 isn't an inflated total--they've been there many times this year.
  14. HELP IS ON THE WAY!!! As of today, Purdue's highly ranked Class of 2020 recruiting class includes 2 defensive linemen, 4 linebackers, 5 defensive backs, in addition to a four-star RB, QB, and WR. Oh yeah, recruiting ain't over, more will sign.
  15. Exactly. Name and likeness is fine, but nothing else.
  16. That's what I thought all along, a nothing burger, if you will...
  17. Yes, he does--Rocco and Moose are looking for him. I anticipate a good game, but I won't be there.
  18. Although I live in da Region now, I'll always be a Lafayette-area kid at heart. The son of one of my friend's from high school plays for the Bronchos with an H, Jeff prevails 43-24...
  19. This just in, sports fans: I just got an alert on my phone that the weather this weekend will be no Bueno, the football gods are smiling upon us!!!
