A lot depends on how one looks at it. From a fan standpoint I think it has been good all over. I wish SB would get their act together and consolidate schools to try and improve the quality of the whole athletic program. I think no having freshman football at some schools will come back to haunt them. I think the south will end up being more competitive than the north in most years. It will be interesting to see if Penn is in one of those eras where not as dominant as before. WIll Elkhart dominate in some sports as well?

So the game of the year is in Elkhart with the Lions play Marian for the North title. Will this be the year NP can get Penn? This is a decent Penn team but not as talented as many of their past teams. Bremen and Riley battle for 1st Place in the South.

I am beginning to think SB could get by with 2 traditional high schools and one vocational high school

Before people start writing Penn off they have lost 3 games by 6 points. They just have not been able to finish this year. It is not like the ship is sinking.

Any idea how many players each school team has this year? Clay is 19-20 Adams Riley Washington They have to shutter buildings.. They do not have the money to keep them all open and running

Until they decide how many high schools we really need I would no see much happening? Who would want them unless you join the 2 Hammond schools and Gary West. Then you are adding additional travel What about a conference with Benton Harbor and any other Independent Mich school?

They were to play Lima Catholic Central but since Ohio went to a 6 game schedule guess the game was cancelled. It was in the paper Marian was not looking for a game but making it their week to prepare.

This year that is the case. And a couple of close game where a stop here or there would have made a difference

The trend is not downward in many places. Over 50% of the new cases are 40 and under. This is going to get more serious as we move along n the season

Quiet week before game night

Bremen at Glenn - after seeing both in person I would say Bremen by a big margin. But how they have played makes it a guess. I like more of what I saw with Bremen. Marian at Penn - Cam Marian handle the size and strength of Penn. Marian has the athletes to do it. Penn is still Penn even at 2-3. Being at Penn, the Kingsmen but it would not surprise me if Marian would win the game. Adams at New Prairie - After seeing NP and their soph running back this kid has a ton of potential. NP has lost to 2 very good football teams. I am not sure what Adams is trying to do on offense. NP Clay at Jimtown - short handed Clay should be no match for the Jimmies Riley at Washington - gut feeling the Cat Elkhart at St. Joe - watched the 1st half of their game with Penn. They have athletes. I am not on board with SJ making a lot of progress over beating inferior teams. I keep seeing this as a track meet with Elkhart running away with it.

They are going to have to contract a high school. Maybe 2. The enrollment and cost does not justify keeping at least one open. That buildings report was supposed to be in by June. It is now September. Many people are beginning to question the competence and qualifications of the people running the corporation and the school board.
