    Yes, my youngest brother lives in Raleigh. This weekend will complete the trifecta. I’ll have seen games ar North Carolina, NC State, and now, Duke.

    I understand your thought process. But I’ve consistently argued that a playoff qualification format or, to a lesser extent, seeding, would greatly increase interest in the regular season. Thus, I think if the IHSAA changed their way of doing things, activity (and membership) on the GID would double ... or better.

    I can certainly understand how this type of inconsistency would be very frustrating to coaches. It should never happen. This is a sign of an ineffective (or inattentive) crew chief.
