I know. I'm trying to come up with how many 4-6A teams have turf though. Memorial doesn't apply here.

We are at about 80 schools with field turf for those classes. There are 64 in 6A and 5A total... and 62 in 4A. 127 total schools. I took Bosse off the list since they dropped to 3A. Plus Cathedral and Eville Memoerial don't count because they don't have their own home field... who else shares a field? Those that have grass: Castle (astonishing), Jeffersonville, Madison, Silver Creek, South Dearborn... who else?

Thought they installed turf. my bad. Yeah... put Jeff and Laf Jeff.... lol meant to only write Laf Jeff down and I had East Central and Avon on my list.

Plainfield, Avon, Brownsburg, Noblesville, Carmel, Westfield, HSE, Fishers, BD, WC, Col North, Col East, East Central, Eville Reitz, Eville Central, Eville North, Eville Harrison, Eville Bosse, Seymour, Center Grove, Franklin Central, Franklin, Merriville, Penn, Martinvsillve, Bloom North, Bloom South, Jeff, NA, Laf Jeff, FC, Castle, North Central, Lawrence Central, Lawrence North, Pike. Idk I think I did a pretty good job to start things.

There's flaws regardless, they did a solid job.

Not sure how you some of you think this is a dumb rule? It's a fantastic rule. The best part is the whole 6 quarter thing so teams can allow JV players to go in in the 3rd q. Great rule!!

And if they played in sectional 31 they would have a 2hr 15min drive to Franklin Co, if they played in sectional 30 they'd have a 2hr 5min drive to Sullivan. Brownstown and Salem are centrally located, but neither of us are on an interstate. Why are the extra 23mins in your scenario that big of a deal? That's kind of silly. But, yeah... they did do a pretty good job, at least in the South, not familiar enough with the North.

I just kind of looked at the results and thought... meh, ok I can see that. Sectional 30 and 31 still don't make sense to me, but that's ok. Good luck to the Titans this season. AND FOR CHRIST SAKE NO MORE RAIN GAMES THIS SEASON!!!!!!

You can't just look at it like that though. You have to look at the entire state, as a whole.

All but two travel possibilities are all within 1.5 hours.

I'm strictly talking geography. I think what they did makes sense. (although sectional 30 and 31 should flip flop numbers lol) You guys and Princeton in different regionals is kind of crazy.

I was only one off in my prediction for sectional 28. I actually think they did a pretty good job of putting the sectionals together, I just don't understand why 30 and 31 aren't flip flopped for their regional match ups. oh well.

In the south we've had multiple 2 hr+ bus rides in the sectional. York to WL is only 1hr 50min
