So zionsville is the one to watch for about 5 or 6 yrs from now..the run they're having this year could pay dividends on their feeder programs as well

@temptation I concur...if they can put together something special I'd give them a 10% chance at least..out of all classes 6a has the least parity..if Elkhart does not consolidate... zionsville is 6a this year..although imho valpo the gets the red this year for 5a..i wonder if the two conferences will ever readjust/realign..seeing Avon or brownsburg playing mic schools could escalate their competitive nature..dont see a 6a north team winning unless it's a very special team..if that happens I'll gladly admit i was wrong..

U think the hcc will stop the mic trend in the next decade? I'm wondering what the magic number is..cg still around 2500 enrollment? Also putting Carmel in the south gives a few programs the chance at a "Hoosier " upset.. what programs do u see stopping this trend? Yes..id apply..! Sf will play a role in the upcoming years as it did a few years back..to have a solid 4 or 5 year run would be impeccable..thats what it would take for a 6a title..i think if center grove wins they will have the smallest pop. to win a 6a title..the Trojans have won b4 though so I'm probably wrong..snider would need to be on that type of level...imho

The sac has to have 2 semi state participants at least..if not..others will lay claim to top 3 notoriety

6a has 32 teams..25% reside in the mic..if I were a betting man id take them in 95% of the games against the rest of the state..bottom dwellers might compete with n beat "elite" programs of smaller build..

Always thought the SF was brought in to break up the dynasties being created..2 year cycle definitely can dismantle a solid 4yr run..

Being familiar with opponents may help programs win games..or at least be competitive..carrol n homestead are still attempting to build a postseason culture..knew their first meeting (I think) would be eye opening..

Dwenger makes another semi state run in 5a they might be "ok" as a 5a program..taking nothing away from them n I think they're a threat in the north...as far as this game goes.. the cadets returned talent..the trojans are reloaded..should be a good one

I know ur late to the party so I'll give u a pass in..some have debated teams and/or conferences are declining although according to ihsaa if u win a sectional/regional u deserve to stay up a class..if it helps u out any.. I never polish the medals or rings I have either🍻.
